The "Entwined" light installation is always magical. Brought our dogs here, sat in the Adirondack chairs and enjoyed food from the nearby Viva Vegan food truck (only one open at 5:00 pm on a Sat night - they closed hybrid 6 pm.) Thin crowd, excellent food, fun & cheerful light display. Nearby tennis/ pickleball courts were lit up and bathroom was accessible. Can't ask for more. Oh maybe less mud from the atmospheric rivers, 😄 Sign said the meadow was closed, but no one paid it any attention.

Read moreI'm happy to see that Golden Gate Park brought back this art piece of artificial trees and bushes that light up. It isn't much to look at in the day, but after dark it is surprisingly beautiful and interesting. Reminds me of the idea of glowing mushrooms in caves or other magical mysteries of the imagination. The video doesn't do it justice. As it is getting dark SO early (this was taken before 6 pm) this could be a fun outing in the evening if you happen to be in the area and it isn't raining. I parked near the tea garden because I wanted to check out the Ferris wheel as well (still closed for service but lights still on). Then, It’s about 10-15 minutes to Conservatory of Flowers and Peacock Meadow where the #Entwined lights are displayed. You could park at Nancy Pelosi Dr and Bowling Green Dr. It’ll be closer to Peacock Meadow but there may be no street parking spots left. The lights dancing are great. I wish there was music.
