This is always a fun spot to go visit for various events they host here. Runs, food/beverage fests, music fests, etc. it depends on the event if the bathroom situation is good because the nearby options for when it's an open park are somewhat limited for how popular of a spot it is. The view of the bridge is beautiful and biking/driving to this spot is always pretty since it's right in the presidio. I love that they provide these large red plastic chairs to sit in and how often people bring their kids and dogs to just hang out and soak up the sun and views. I'd prefer Crissy Fields or Dolores but this tends to be a bit quieter. They also regularly seem to have food trucks around on the weekends. Large grassy areas in seating is available in Giant Orange seats. Also access to the over the freeway park and all of that includes. You do have to pay the park which is not overly expensive and we have trouble with one meter but just tried another and that worked fine.
