Got there just before they closed so we had to order in a hurry. And some of their menu items weren’t available since they had already started cleaning up. But what we ended up getting was so good that we were really happy with it. They loaded up our spinach salad with what must have been at least a whole avocado & everything about it was fantastic. The pesto chicken sandwich was delicious & the chicken quesadilla that my daughter had was also really good. I finished off what she didn’t want. The quesadilla came with what appeared to be their own made pico de gallo which I think had a little jicama in it. Really good and inventive and fresh. Both the quesadilla and the sandwich came with small but very fresh side salads that really made the plate. I loved that there was such a large quantity of fresh greens in the meal that were darker and more nutritive than your standard romaine. The owner spent some time talking to us which was really nice. He was very friendly and welcoming. If I’m ever at the Presidio again, I’m eating here. Also, very affordable for a quality healthy delicious meal...

They have a wonderful outside garden & beautiful, sunlit seating areas inside next to large windows with gorgeous views.
I live next door to this cafe, so I've tried most items on the menu. The one ingredient that is important to Latin Cuisine which I wish they would make available are fresh lemon slices as their food has salt, lots of spices but no lemon available - ever. Authentic cornmeal tacos and basic rice & beans as a menu staple 'side' option would also be a good addition to their menu as their menu focuses on Mexican food, minus some foundational necessities like lemon, corn tacos and several other ingredients.
When I visit this cafe, I always have to bring lemon slices from home.
They often run out of ingredients early in the morning - so if you want breakfast, better to get there a couple hours before 11am.
Wonderful gem in the Presidio & prices are great compared to the over-priced, insane prices at the new 'El Parco' and 'Colibri'...
Read moreTried to call in an order during my 30 min lunch break as my coworker said they're good. Woman answered but told me to come in person instead since I haven't been there before. A little annoying, but she promised it would be quick so I walked over, but ended up not even getting a chance to order. There was only one person in front of me, we waited for 5 minutes, person in front of me still couldn't order and I was running out of time for my lunch break so I left and called in an order somewhere else. Went back to work without eating lunch due to the wasted time here. Might try again but only if they're willing to take orders...
