Princess Alaskan Cruise, Sept. 2024, The Crown Princess. A Memorable Cruise Experience: Stellar Service, Top-Notch Productions, and a Curious watch and Jewelry Sale! The Crew and Entertainment: A Symphony of Smiles o From the moment we stepped aboard, the crew enveloped us in warmth. The cabin crew, servers, officers, they all wore kindness like a second skin. Their smiles were contagious, and their genuine desire to assist left a lasting impression. o The onboard events, officers versus passengers, were a delightful diversion. Imagine spirited battles over trivia or mini-golf in the Piazza. Engaging and fun, they added a touch of camaraderie to our voyage. o But let's talk about the productions. Picture this: a grand theater, the stage bathed in light. The live orchestra complete with a mesmerizing violinist and soul-stirring cellist, set the tone. And then, the soprano singer, OMG, she didn't just hit the high notes; she shattered them. Brava!

Culinary Delights: A Gastronomic Journey o Our evenings unfolded in three remarkable restaurants: Michael Angelo, Davinci, and Botticelli. Each had its own charm, but they shared a commitment to excellence. o The ambiance, sublime. The daily menus, enticing. And the presentations the works of art. We savored every bite, knowing that behind the scenes, a dedicated staff wove magic into each dish.

The Piazza: Where Coffee Dreams Come True o Forget deck 15's breakfast buffet; our pilgrimage began on deck 5, the Piazza. Why? Two words: Ludmila, the barista. Her craft coffees were nothing short of enchantment. If she wasn't behind the counter, we'd wait patiently for our magical Café lattes or cappuccinos. And the bonus? Her kind and lively conversation. o Then there was Red, the gentleman bartender. More than a mixologist, he embodied hospitality. His cocktails were impeccable, but it was his attitude and respect that truly stood out. And yes, he remembered us; a touch of personalized service that made all the difference. o Johnson, the young mixology entertainer, dazzled us with drink-making demonstrations. His energy complemented the team perfectly.

The Curious Case of the Watch Clearance Sale!? o Now, let's pivot to the watch/jewelry store. A brand-name watch sale, "INVICTA", at a tempting $169.00 (marked down from $360.00 or $400.00). Intriguing, right? o I asked the salesperson: "Replicas?" His confident reply: "No, sir, these are all genuine INVICTA watches." But when I tried the chronograph, it didn't budge. "Just for looks," he explained. My retort: "So it's a replica?" Silence. o Here's my pondering: Why tarnish an otherwise stellar experience? The crew bends over backward for our pleasure, yet this oddity persists. Princess Cruises, take note: Sleazy business practices don't belong under your watch. Besides, genuine Invicta chronographs can be had for less than $100.00 directly from their website. Food for thought, indeed.

Finally, the excursions; from Eagle and Bear nature wildlife expeditions, the Dogsledding and Musher camps to the Whale and Orca watching and exploring the Glacier Bay National Park, were all truly remarkable. So, our cruise, a symphony of smiles, flavors, and mysteries, left us both enchanted and...

Reason for the three stars I felt it was not organized at all when we arrived at the terminal there was a sign that said check baggage here there was a line about 50 people when they started taking our bags the porters were taking them from anyone in line from people behind us people just getting out of their cars The people that were in front of me were getting very upset as well as myself after our back you're taking we had to go into another line and wait we can probably 300 people in it and as we are waving you can see they were for me another line and those people were going first this was just to get into the building nothing else once we got in the building everything went smoothly I guess cuz princess was in charge there. But like I said it was because of the outside that I'm giving it...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Experience at San Francisco Cruise Port Pier 27!

This cruise port is well-established and runs smoothly! 🛳️💼 The staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting you with a smile 😄👍. It made the whole experience so much more pleasant! ❤️

As soon as I got off the cruise, everything was super organized. The signs were clear and easy to follow, so I had no trouble finding my way around 🥇🚶‍♂️. Security was efficient, and although it’s a bit of a walk to the Uber waiting area 🚗, the directions were easy to navigate.

The port is clean, well-maintained, and overall, it’s a great start or end to your cruise adventure! 💪✨ Highly recommend it if you’re cruising through San...

Nice to have a cruise port nearby but getting to it in SF is a pain, cruise tip... If you can unload out in the street and don't bother going into the unloading area. It''s very tight in there and there is 3 stoplights in a row on the embargadero. in high traffic flows your going to take 4 or5 minutes sitting at the light anyway and you end up closer to the cruise terminal entry. I got out to stretch my legs at the light, several others were unloading in the street, plenty of time.

It's a beautiful newer cruise ship terminal where you dock when visiting San Francisco Port. It is very clean with clear signage throughout. There's a lot of police presence around to make you feel safe. Uber and taxis stops are just outside the terminal building. If you are fortunate enough to have your cabin on the cruise ship on the port side, the view of the city of San Francisco, including the Golden Gate Bridge, will be visibly spectacular.
