Loved the fact they don't have ticket takers hassling you about wearing a stupid MASK! Auditorium seating in the RPX theater doesn't have leg lifting recliners, just tilts back a little and there are no arm rest trays that swivel like at Cinemark or other theaters. Pizza also wasn't that good. Much prefer the Pizza Hut ones at Cinemark. You can buy alcohol and bring it into the theater. And they had good tasting FRESH popcorn, not bagged up from the day before. But 2 ICEES, a pizza, a hotdog, 6 chicken tenders, and large popcorn, and Bubly, came to $65!! Also the food is not ready, you have to wait for it to cook so it's cooked to order which is good! Just A little too expensive though! I expected more from the RPX theater as far as screen and sound but all you are really paying extra for is the rumble seat your sitting on that rumbles to low bass frequencies in the soundtrack. Wasn't impressed and won't be spending extra money for that. I have yet to experienceany other theaters like the Chinese Mann theater or Fox Bruin Mann theater in LA! Now that is what a movie theater should always be like! If you get a chance ever! you won't be...
Read moreI've been to San Fran lots of times but never made it to Coit Tower, why not?! This was a great stop to see the bay area. Our day was clear, no wind and the sun was out, how perfect! There are 360 degree views from the parking lot and inside is a bathroom, gift shop and a museum of murals (free). You can pay ($10) per person to go up in the elevator and 2 flights of stairs to the top of the tower for a better view. The windows are glassed in. Had a great time with my family. We left for dinner and returned to parking lot for night time...
Read moreCool place to visit to see a different view of the SF skyline. We came on an extremely good day for weather, not so much for the elevator. Beautiful views in and out of the tower, absolutely amazing. The volunteers there are nice and passionate about the towers preservation...leave you bags and backpacks in the car for ease.
Elevator was broken that day, but rest assured, full price was charged to walk up the 13 stories. Lots of landings to stop on; little, short, uncoordinated or old legs are more challenging, but take your time, the view...
