Augie’s Burgers — Restaurant in San Gabriel

Tell you what! I pass by this place every single day, not that I wasn't a tease? Well guess what? My younger Son Michael thought, " I feel like chili cheese fries", well I'll get a burger for my Dad, and Ma, so it would be there àt home when they get back from their day. Took the first bite of my Western Burger, right away I tasted greatness!! Bbq sauce not over powering, but moist, not dry, seasoning is perfect, cheese was tasty, by the way folks, my mouth is watering as we speak and I write this review. Taste of course the meat, onions, tomato, secret sauce, etc. Let me say one thing,.... I ate all 3/4 lb burger! Barley got my mouth around it lol! Didn't even get to have french fries or chips. TOO FULL! When my stomach is full and I feel blessed and comfortable..... Now that's a burger my friends. After we went interstate Batteries to check the battery of my car,we were hungry then I check my Yelp and Google what restaurants are around. There's one pop up Augie's Burgers just 5 minutes away that's the place we headed to. We step in and we were greet then we look at the menu display then we decided to order my wife order a BLT and I order a cheeseburger combo.

Couple of minutes later our meal was ready to pick up our meal. My cheeseburger was delicious in one bite tasting the flavors of the char boil burger was amazing including the hand peel lettuce not shredded and cheese and pickle and onion and also the secret sauce aka thousand island dressing. The cheeseburger was good also the fries crispy to the bite and a refreshing drink of Pepsi.

My wife enjoying her BLT very much. We enjoy the food at Augie's Burgers next time we need choice different items...

I've been reading the reviews and wanting to visit and try the food to see what the hype was about. The reason I'm giving 5 stars is because for our local burger place, it makes good quality food with fresh ingredients that's pretty tasty. I tried the chipotle chicken sandwich and fried zucchini. The fried zucchini was was not greasy and batter was light which I enjoyed with ranch of course. Each ingredient was of good quality - chicken breast, bacon, lettuce, tomato, avocado and the chipotle salsa was the perfect compliment, not to mention the bread made it a great sandwich. If the rest of the menu is as good, I will definitely be coming back to try it all. No regrets. Great job Augie!! And they are nice folks in our community. Go...
