Remember people record , record , record and video record every chance you get to speak with Ebay on the phone. We can post our videos right here as long as it doesn’t include anyone’s personal info and so on. Always make sure you confirm policy’s they need to abide by legally while on the phone. eBay phone reps will always tell you all the things you want to hear . Make sure they know they’re being recorded. Then they can only say the truth and be held liable for what they say.
Everything you do could be improved apon the constant lying about policy and what will happen is a disgrace. Thank god I have recorded every conversation on my end of all the lies and misinformation that is given.Just for the record my label is bought straight through eBay I have not received my return container and Ebay has the container stated as delivered. They lied on the phone with me that I bought the shipping label through eBay , I recorded that conversation. UPS has no claims for some reason with eBay. I was never able to declare my value with eBay mobile app for some reason. Not even a recorded call to UPS could clear this up. I can’t figure how to update my tracking due to both companies constantly deflecting and vague unusable solutions. How did I already get the container that weighs 145 lbs and 44x24x18 in only a few hours nearly 1000 miles away? Ups is inspecting for 8-10 days. I don’t have the container which is I’m assuming is in an ups facility. You can reach out to me if you would like for the claim # for UPS and my eBay case confirmation # I’ve recorded all my conversations we’ll see who wins small claims courts if need be. UPS is also lying so we need to get this straight do not take any money from my accounts till you confirmed what I’m saying. I might just need to get a lawyer on this one. I will be be adding videos soon!!! Case was supposed to be In my favor via telephone 7/24 and via chat here’s the transcript of the lies that are told. I think I want to get attorney general involved with this.
Update They are attempting to take my money via there automated system. By the way via eBay policy I’m supposed receive the container in order for that to happen. It didn’t and I still can’t track this container. eBay take this ridiculous lean off my account and take accountability you said you said I and the buyer are in the clear. You voided my contract with buyer once you agreed to take over the amount owed.
Update Friday 8/2/24 Chatted with ebay twice today on the app got no where with that ask for transcripts got them but “ did not have the ability to solve my issue. “ finally spoke to some ebay reps on the phone once I asked could I record for legal reasons they all of sudden are refusing to be recorded. You ask me to be recorded why not? I recorded all the way up to each reps refusal. What do we have hide eBay? Why do your reps refuse being recorded? California is a 2 consent state. The second rep threatened to hang up if continued recording so the only thing have is her refusal. I was told that I was put in for a Manuel refund which would take 7-10 business days . I also noticed that they did not send me any feedback emails or messages on this call for some strange reason .Shady practice. Let me just put this on here eBay am I allowed to record you during our calls?
Update 8/6/2024 Still no return shipment even though eBay has already refunded the buyer. It amazes me me how my funds to be locked up almost going on a whole month. Here’s a vague copy and proof the item is still with UPS eBay.the label was bought from you and you have a special claims division within ups why is the seller doing all the leg work?
Update 8/22/24 eBay still has no accountabilty all my funds are frozen still going on month now stop the bullshit eBay give me my money back and release my account. You said I wouldn’t have a charge to my account and to this day you still lie. Final Update 9/20/24 I won my case send your “eBay Notice of Dispute” as soon as you have enough evidence of any lies or policy’s that are broken. ...
Read moreUpdate: Filed an official complaint with both the BBB and FTC. eBay responded to the BBB complaint and are still refusing any clarity and will not allow me to delete my personal data along with the account, they’re holding my personal information like my email address, full name, email, card info etc, hostage claiming “concerns”. I use a VPN as my data has been breached from big businesses being hacked. I’m just trying to prevent my personal identity from being compromised further by using a VPN, apparently it’s an issue with eBay but nowhere in their terms does it prohibit using a VPN. Millions use a VPN, and banning you for using one because they can no longer track you tells me that eBay syphons your personal information and usage data which is a very shady business practice and has caused federal investigations into big companies in the past. eBay cannot be trusted, they’re probably selling your information to third parties and they need to be fully investigated by the feds and dealt with, they think that just because they are a big company that they are immune from punishment.
Important Note: I got my money back thanks to the seller because I had by sheer luck requested to cancel the order just shortly before eBay banned me. No problem with the seller other than the full description of what happened to the item that resulted from being repaired by the manufacturer. Most people probably know about it but I have never had to RMA a graphics card let alone the designation the the manufacturer applied to the video card which meant detuned, so thats on me just as much as the seller. However I cannot contact the seller to say thank you because eBay has blocked my account from doing anything, along with holding my personal information hostage. eBay is the sole party in the wrong. Not me, not the seller. If it wasn’t for the seller I wouldn’t have gotten my money back so fast, I would’ve still gotten it back as I opened up an official complaint and investigation with my financial institution. From reading up on others that this has happened to, eBay would’ve kept the money for themselves, it would not have gone to the seller nor would I have gotten the item if I had not cancelled as eBay prevents sellers from sending out a sold item to an account that they seem to decide to ban, the money would’ve ended up being kept by eBay. That’s thievery plain and simple. This company is the very definition of corrupt and needs to be dealt with.
Original complaint (still 100% stands): Tried to cancel $750 item no longer than 10-20 minutes after placing it because seller did not describe the part where it was deemed by the manufacturer after the manufacturer replaced it that the performance was intentionally cut down because it couldn’t handle advertised specifications, I found this out by accident because I wanted to buy another one, copy and pasted into Norton search but I couldn’t find the exact same, item had “DT” in description which I thought was a specific model designation but couldn’t find one, so I searched what DT was and then found out what it really meant and cancelled order, when I cancelled I got a message that eBay immediately banned my account, refused to refund the money, and said decision is final after I went through all the hoops of actually getting an agent on live chat. I have filed an official complaint and dispute to my financial institution, eBay has completely cut off any ability to contact them from this account. I have filed formal complaint through BBB as well and if I don’t get my money back I am going to take legal action. eBay has become extremely predatory and a lawsuit is needed, they think they can just do...
Read moreWish I saw all the reviews recently about this company. Used to be a long time user, and it seems everything went down the tubes. 0 of 5 star review if possible.
The customer service is outsourced to god knows where? The "eBay" money back guaranteed is a joke. The sellers on eBay are complete scammers. There is no accountability from anyone. No email or other phone number available to contact corporate. It's the buyers fault according to customer support, indirectly mentioned. Complete unprofessionalism and a lack of empathy. Felt like my issue is going nowhere after speaking with multiple forms of customer service reps (CSR's, Leads, Supervisors, etc.)
Seller 1: To start from the beginning. I researched Galaxy note 20 ultra, which yes is an older phone but still amazing reviews. Very well rounded phone with excellent features for the value. My first hint to not use eBay should of been after my first buy from a seller on eBay. The phone arrived defective, no start/charge on the device and so I returned it. The seller actually issued a full refund.
Seller 2: The next phone I get from eBay comes from (touchtechtreasures). DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS.. I travel for a living and went past the 30 day return as I tried to resolve issues on my own for software/firmware conflicts which comes from Samsung, go figure.. then my main camera goes on the fritz. The device at this point is completely defective. I purchased a screen protector and hard case to keep the phone safe and scratch free as if I just removed it from it's packaging brand new. After returning this device the whole process turns into a nightmare.... it takes eBay and the seller over a month to send me another phone which also arrived with scratches/damage to the phone which goes against this sellers ad (brand new phone), not (refurbished), (open box), (like new), (used), etc. To top it off let's go back to the troubleshooting for this, oh it's a hot mess.. the seller asks for my unique pin for my phone to bypass front screen biometrics, and I know this was factory reset by me because that was a troubleshooting step to correct issues with non working camera if all else failed. I researched this and it's tied to my Google account. I immediately inform the seller that I will not disclose this pin as I do not authorize anyone to access personally identifiable information. Even though the phone is factory reset, doesn't mean my sensitive information cannot be accessed after bypassing basic form of security to access phone. I let eBay know about this issue and they did nothing, wouldn't even help me try and get my refund back or create a "incident/ticket" to address this issue as it completely violates terms of agreement with them as an e-marketplace.
Due to issues with uploading photos and chats on this platform I will sadly leave it as what you see posted. I have reported this to the BBB, on eBay's Facebook account page, and any form of media I can get my point across as allot of my time is wasted with trivial back and fourth conversations with no...
