Absolutely horrendous customer service. West Elm's marketing team needs to rename some of the fabrics. I choose the Performance Distressed Velvet in Dark Olive, and ordered the Performance Velvet in Dark Olive by mistake (the names are so close, it was easy to miss this). Once the wrong item was delivered, I immediately realized that it wasn't the fabric I had chosen and contacted West Elm several times. They could absolutely care less. I've worked with other brands (higher end) that would NEVER have treated me so poorly. They basically told me that I would "learn to love it." The fabric on the sofa they delivered shows every fingerprint, handprint, mark, etc. - the reason we DIDN'T choose they fabric on the sofa that was delivered. HORRENDOUS. I visited the See’s Candy Shop after work and decided to go to the West Elm furniture store. When I entered it wasn’t busy, but there was a blond lady at the computer helping a gentleman and few people just milling around. I wanted to purchase 4 pillows, and sheets for my bed, and when the blond woman finished with her customer I thought it was my opportunity to ask my questions. She proceeded to look me in the eyes, pass me, and ask the customer behind me does she need any assistance? I thought “whoa”! I then walked around in front of her again, looked at her and she said “Hi” to another guest ignoring me AGAIN! I KNOW WHEN I AM NOT WANTED!!! I left and feel like crap! NEVER EVER am I going to buy any furniture in West Elm again. I had a terribly bad experience with ordering an online a dresser. We paid full price for it and the delivery option was not cheap as well. Looks like they don't have quality control and as a result we got a damaged item and now we're spending a lot of time to get an exchange. The custumer servise is very bad. Pretty much impossible to reach them, they don't have an email and nobody will reply by phone. I 100% don't reccomend to buy any items that you can't return yourself...
