Stumbled Upon a Piece of Art in Campbell, CA

I was recently browsing the Instagram page of @slayerespresso , a company that makes high-end espresso machines, when I came across a photo of their multi-head Slayer espresso maker at @barefootcoffeecampbell Coffee in Campbell, CA. I was immediately intrigued, so I decided to check out the shop for myself.

When I arrived at Barefoot Coffee, I was immediately struck by the beauty of the Slayer espresso maker. It's a work of art, with its sleek lines and polished metal. But it's not just beautiful, it's also incredibly functional. The Slayer espresso maker is capable of producing some of the best espresso in the world.

I ordered a Mexican latte, and I was not disappointed. The espresso was rich and flavorful, and the milk was perfectly steamed. I could tell that the baristas at Barefoot Coffee knew what they were doing.

I'm so glad I found Barefoot Coffee. It's a hidden gem in the Bay Area, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves coffee. #bayareacoffee #latteart #slayerespresso...

I wish I could say this visit was the exception, but I always get strange/cold/subpar service every time I visit this location. Take your business elsewhere, I'll be doing the same.

On my last visit here (1:30pm on a weekend), I saw drip coffee (batch brew) listed on the menu. I ordered it, and the cashier told me "oh that's not available in the afternoon, nobody orders it". No apology, no alternative offered, nothing; this could have been avoided by a caveat on the menu stating "limited quantity" or "unavailable after X o clock". So instead the only option for a drip coffee was a hand-pour, which was almost double the price.

Second: The person I was with ordered a latte, simple. A few minutes pass, and the cashier calls out "latte to go" or similar, and pushes it onto the pickup area. We reach for it and the cashier tells us it's not ours, that it belonged to someone else. Ok, why not shout out the name + order, especially with a common drink +...

Yo this place is awesome!!

On my never-ending quest to visit all the coffee shoppes and find the best one on the planet, this one will have me coming back pretty frequently!

So far I have tried:

Voodoo

It was really good! I usually just get my coffee black, but I'm always down to try other things when I'm out and about on the town doin' my chicken wang. I'm not sure if this was that "butter coffee" that people seem to love, you know, where they add in a scoop of coconut oil, or some other buttery type of food and it gives it an insane amount of creaminess.

Super good. Super BAD for you. But hey, you only live once right? So go out and have some freaking fun once in awhile!

If you're scared, they are very COVID-compliant, so you can feel safe here, inside arms of the angels that are your baristas.

See you there,...

I came here to work and really enjoyed the drinks and the ambiance! Good: Lots and lots of outlets - so many and definitely very good for getting things done - the ambiance is super cute and feels like you can sit on a rainy day inside here. I liked the cream cheese lox toast - definitely filling though it is very small in size. Very fresh tasting, like they made it on the spot. The voodoo drink with oat milk is really unique - I like how it has chocolate, condensed milk, and milk. It's great on a cold day. Bad: The portion sizes for the toast is pretty sad for the cost, definitely would rather get the drinks here than the food. Overall would come again if I was working in the area!
