House of Bagels — Restaurant in Campbell

If you're looking for a genuine, thick, hearty, usually warm, always fresh bagel, this is the gold standard. The selection of bagels, quality, staff and overall experience are unrivaled. I'm biased but only because I've been coming here for at least 30 years. I buy bagels for customers, board meetings, school and charity fundraisers and my daughter come here once a week for coffee and a bagel, Daddy and daughter time before school...... Just absolutely love this place. Sometimes I'm in the mood for a plain bagel with cream cheese... Simple bagel shop with few tables. I was expecting high quality based on reviews but didn’t find it great. It is fine but not excellent

I got 3 sesame. 1 plain 1 everything 1 jalapeño cheese. The “toppings “ were skimpy. I mistook the sesame bagel for plain. The other parts if bagel had no sesame if you look at picture this was the part that had any sesame at all…. It was true for every flavor—the “toppings” were scant. The bagel itself was okay. I have had better at other places. Thus was closest to my errand at that moment but will not be back. I thought I had eaten at a different house of bagels and thought it good so decided to come here....

My first and last time here. I got a poppy seed bagel and coffee. They gave me the bagel in a to-go bag. My bad, I thought it would be served like, you know, for eating here.
