Being Vietnamese myself, I was initially skeptical about trying the beef vermicelli dish at this restaurant, as I have my favorite spots for Vietnamese cuisine. However, I was pleasantly surprised and thoroughly impressed. The restaurant markets itself as a quick takeout spot, which added to my skepticism, but the beef vermicelli dish truly exceeded my expectations. The flavors were authentic and delicious, and I found myself thoroughly enjoying every bite. I would highly recommend giving this dish a try, even if you're a Vietnamese food enthusiast like myself!
The main reason I am eager to support this business is because of the owner's genuine and caring nature. She has poured her heart and soul into the restaurant, and it truly shows. During my visit, she shared with me that she grills everything fresh at the beginning of each day, and whatever is leftover, she generously donates to the homeless. Her dedication to both her restaurant and the community is truly commendable. It's heartwarming to see someone so invested in not just their business, but also in making a positive impact on those in need. Supporting this restaurant feels like supporting a small business with...
Read moreI saw their ad on Instagram a few days ago and thought I would give it a try today; it's nearly impossible (imo) to find banh mi on this side of 87 fwy. But as it turns out, I ended up having the beef noodle dish and an iced coffee with milk. (Why? Because it was mid-afternoon and they were already sold out of their popular sandwiches. Note to self.) But I wasn't at all disappointed; both were excellent! The beef was very flavorful and very tender (good portions and proportions), noodles were just the right texture, vegetables were very fresh, and the sauce was great.
The owner was warm, welcoming and enthusiastic and told me a bit about her business. They grill all their meat fresh daily. It's just her and her mom and a couple of employees.
To get to TT Deli, go behind BofA on The Alameda; it's in the building to your left; proceed around the corner. They have attractive and very clean indoor and outdoor seating.

Had the lemon grass pork and beef sanwhiches. Chanh Muoi "Salty Lemonade", That was refreshing during this hot day. Service was friendly. Location is a bit hidden but worth the find. The location sits in a business area with stream and water fountain outside. Just beautiful area to relax and enjoy a sandwhich. Employee I assume is owner came out with my food asking if it was to my liking if not she'll remake. Such a nice place worth trying. I was looking for something near Santa Row...
