I've been here at least a half-dozen times. Food quality and portion sizes are very good. Nothing I've ordered yet has been spectacular.
*Last ordered Pad Kee Maw with pork, as it is most commonly made. You may choose chicken or beef instead. The noodles were a bit clumped / stuck together, otherwise it's been my favorite dish here.
The curries are good- fairly plain. Be sure to specify the level of spice or perhaps ask to add something extra to heat things up!
Prices are not modest, therefore I give...
Read moreWe came here once a few years ago and didn't like the food but decided to give it another try this evening. We ordered the Green Curry, and Fried Rice for our mains. The fried rice was such a disappointment. We have not had such flavorless fried rice in such a long time at a restaurant and were so astonished given the overall reviews of this place and the pricing. We paid ~$20 for a fried rice which would have been 30% cheaper elsewhere and 10x better. Additionally, the green curry we ordered had little curry. Green curry should have a good amount of curry in comparison to the meat/vegetables. The curry was so less and the vegetables/meat was more which made it so imbalanced. Moreover, the green curry is served in an oddly shaped dish though looks pleasing to the eyes was not the correct dish to use for a green curry. It was very hard to get any curry out of the dish. Overall, the food is overpriced and not worth the money. Yes, the servers are nice and the ambience is good but the food is such a...
Read moreWent here to pick up my order, and it was my first time at Tee Nee. I ordered the Thai Tacos, Seafood Pad Thai, and the peanut sauce beef dish (can't remember the exact name). I have only been to maybe 4 Thai places in my life, so I didn't have much to gauge this against, but it was the best I've had so far! The portions we received for each entree was plentiful, probably enough for 4 people. I took off one star from perfection because I asked for extra vegetables on the side and only received two broccoli florets. It is possible that there was something on the menu I could have ordered as a side, but I didn't have a menu in front of me. Would have appreciated a suggestion since I eat a lot of veggies with my meals.
The Thai Tacos were so good that I wish I would have ordered more of them! Tacos on roti are just too good! I am definitely going back. I live on the East side of San Jose, and I can't find proper Thai food, even in Evergreen. This was...
