San Jose Market Center — Attraction in San Jose

Parking can be a challenge at lunchtime. There are lots of restaurants, various stores, fast food.

Close to downtown, but parking is free. Also conveniently close to Santa Clara transit hubs and Costco. 87 is the nearest freeway, but 880 connecting to 101 is not far down the street.

I can go to my bank, grab pet food at PetSmart, a meal, quirky snacks at cost plus, hair stuff at Marshall's, some groceries at Trader Joe's, office supplies at office Depot and toiletries at Target, all in one trip.

Blue mango and sweet tomatoes are popular with my vegetarian friends. I'm at Smashburger every day, because I have a smashpass. The Starbucks is drive through, so that is convenient. No exit on Taylor to the shopping center.

DO NOT COME HERE! This place is absolutely the worst place to park ever. There was people smoking marijuana and drinking in the parking lot. Our car got broken into while me and my girlfriend were enjoying a nice date at bjs not even a hour later our car window was smashed into by a huge clay pot? That was left next to the car we even parked next to cars underneath the street light. We called police they couldn’t do anything talked to target they can’t do anything about cameras and that the one security officer on site went home early on a Saturday night!
