Spirit Halloween — Attraction in San Jose

My husband and I stopped by yesterday to look for some matching themed costumes for ourselves, his little sister and our dog but the whole time while walking around the store one of the employees was following us. He started following us as soon as we entered the child costume section.He was already on his way out when we entered but stayed and began to follow us throughout the whole store. At one point when my husband and I were standing by the AC (since it was really hot inside the building) the employee ran up to us and just stood there acting like he was organizing stuff. We left the store without buying anything since we both felt uncomfortable and upset that out of all the guests in the store we were the only ones being followed by this employee who was treating us like potential criminals. We will not be shopping here in the future.

The only good thing about this store was the really nice cashier at the front of the store who helped us find the kid and pet costumes section.

P.S we didn't see any pet costumes but we may have skipped or not gone to that area since the employee who was following us was in our way in some areas...

Ok, so I'm not a Halloween person at all. But I figured I'd stop in and just check it out since I was walking by. Inside looks like a used up old Safeway store Warehouse. (Cuz it is) Some of the items on display did not function. The inside looks like a half-hearted mess at best. (Like a dressed up garage sale or fle- market.) Lots of cool things for one time use (if your a Trick-ster) One cashier said goodbye to me. She gets 5 stars. I walked around for about 35 min, not one person asked if I needed help. Being that it's a Halloween store, they are all probley psychic and knew that. (Not) Over all...

Store has just opened up. Staff is very friendly. One of the smaller Spirit stores with minimal animations set up as you walk in which was very disappointing for my grandson who loves to see them all. Stire was super hot inside with very loud fan in front entry doors to help with airflow. Hopefully AC is fixed by now. Mainly costumes and masks. All in...
