My partner and I ordered pickup from here yesterday: panang curry with tofu (for him), pad prik king with tofu (for me), and basil spicy fried rice with tofu substituted with brown rice (to share). The employee on the phone was very short, terse, and curt. She did not confirm the end of the order ("Is there anything else?"), did not repeat my order back to me, and I had to ask for the total which was about $45: each dish was $13.95 before tax. The only useful information she gave freely was that it would be ready within 20 minutes.

When we arrived, the order was hot and ready to go. We return home excited to eat. Upon opening the boxes, we realize the portions were quite small. Definitely not worth $14 each, especially since everything was vegetarian. The quality of the food itself is AWESOME: the chefs definitely know what they are doing. Knocking down two stars for the lackluster communication and small portions. I got hungry again a few hours later when I expected the food to last me longer. Lanna Thai is so much better price, portion, and service-wise (quality of food is probably equal) they're not even in the same league. If you want Thai in this area, go...

Read for update 6 may 2018

Great service. Quick. Friendly. Spicy.. oh yeah!

Best and spiciest Yum Woon Sen (Silver/Glass Noodle Salad) in all of the Thai restaurants in the Bay Area where I have eaten this dish. 2nd best part is; you can ask to buy a small container of that chili flakes here for $3!!!

UPDATE: 6 May 2018

Quality and Quantity has gone down alot. Maybe new management or new chef since our last visit a few month ago. We ordered Papapya salad and Thai Honey bbq beef.

The papaya salad sucked and very small, not enough enough for 1 person to be satisfied. 2nd the papya wasnt even freshly julienned, it was done and left to soak in advance. The sauce wasnt even authentic thai papaya sauce... just watered down fish sauce and lemon

The "Thai Honey BBQ Beef" was plain beef laid on lettuce topped with cilantro. No taste of honey, just charred beef; comes with standard sweet n sour sauce. Small portion and NO rice with it... rip off for 14.95!

Pros: white rice, which did taste like white rice and the service.

Cons: ambient, portion size, marinates/seasoning. Overall FOOD SUCKS!! BTW they wont let me buy chili flakes anymore which lost them 1...

Delicious Thai Food and Exceptional Service on a Valentine’s Day !

I'm still impressed by the incredible service and delicious food we received from Thai Grata on Valentines. We ordered dinner takeout for our family gathering, and despite the chaos of the holiday rush, they delivered (literally!).

The ordering process was seamless, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We were told the food would be ready in about 30 minutes, and to our surprise, it was ready in 20!

The food was piping hot, and the portions were generous. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Massaman Curry. Each dish was expertly prepared, with bold flavors and tender ingredients.

What truly impressed us, however, was the quick service and attention to detail. The staff at Thai Grata clearly went above and beyond to ensure that our holiday dinner was special.

If you're looking for delicious Thai food and exceptional service, look no further than Thai Grata ! They truly exceeded our expectations, especially on a busy holiday. We can't wait to order...

Decent Thai food, typical menu options, and good service. Prices are a bit high and portions vary depending on the dish. This wouldn't be my first choice but if I'm in the area and am craving Thai food, it's not a bad option. - Roti: Yum! Buuut the curry came out warm and the fried roti was already a bit cold and not as crispy. It was also too oily. Overall, still tasty. - Papaya Salad: I got the Lao version and when that's available as an option, I know it's already off to a good start. The salad was tasty but the portion was pretty small. It only looked like a fair amount because it was on a pile of lettuce. - Pad Thai: Not bad at all! I got pork and they used a super lean cut which was a bit dry. Tastes best with dried chili flakes cause spice is always nice! I would order this again.
