Condado Beach is like the Puerto Rican cousin of Miami Beach—if that cousin were cooler, had better food, and didn’t break the bank. Whether you’re looking to soak up the sun, enjoy some killer views, or just people-watch while pretending you’re in a music video, this place delivers on all fronts.
The sand? Soft and golden, perfect for lounging and digging your toes in while sipping on a piña colada (pro tip: bring one from a nearby kiosk, because why not?). The water is gorgeous, with shades of blue that make you wonder if Mother Nature was showing off when she made this spot. Just a heads-up: the waves can be feisty, so maybe hold off on that Instagram Live if you don’t want to end up as a viral fail.
Surrounding the beach are some of the trendiest hotels, restaurants, and bars in San Juan. You can take a swim, dry off, and then stroll over to grab some mofongo or a fancy cocktail like the beach royalty you are. Ashford Avenue, right next door, is the perfect spot for shopping or grabbing dessert when you need to refuel from all that hard work of relaxing.
What I love most is the vibe. It’s a mix of locals and tourists, beach bums and fashionistas, all coming together to enjoy the magic of Condado. Whether you’re chilling under a palm tree or snapping pics with the skyline in the background, you’ll feel like you’re living your best life.
Condado Beach is the ultimate blend of city energy and island relaxation. It’s got everything you need for a perfect day—sun, surf, and the occasional reminder to reapply sunscreen. Just go, have fun, and try not to leave with sand in your shoes (you will, but...

There are a lot of restaurants, hotel near by. I also ended up going to a seafood restaurant...
