The Laguna del Condado or Condado Lagoon is beautiful and peaceful. The temperature of the water is tepid, yes, you read that right. It's slightly lukewarm. It feels s amazing. It's like getting into a giant crystalline saltwater spa where uou can have dolphins, manatees and other fish swim by. It's a place where seeing starfish is not out of the ordinary. I went paddleboarding and swam on the other side of the bridge where there's a beach and a hotel. You can rent paddleboards and kayaks right there for a good price. This place is perfect for kids, adults, the third age and your pet dog 🐕 There's a nice boardwalk next to the lagoon. It has a gazebo where you can sit or take dance lessons. When they are open, it has decent bathrooms, and vending machines. There's a police mini station and limited space for parking (you can find more on the street). And of course the long paved trail that runs next to the lagoon. You will find people doing all type of outdoor exercises, in addition to paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming (yes, the water is clean...the wildlife will tell you that or ask the manatees).
