I had a horrible experience at this location. I was color matched with a new foundation and because it was a new foundation I made sure to ask how long I had to return to the product and the sales representative said if I wanted a full refund that I needed to return within 30 days and if it was after 30 days it would be a store credit. I purchased the item May 19th, went home and realized it was way too orange, never opened the product, and came back to the store July 24th. I own a local business, I’m a single mom of two children and a foster baby, so getting back within 30 days was a challenge but I wasn’t too concerned because I’m a Sephora-holic and didn’t mind the store credit option. So July 24th comes, and I’m in the store trying to return the item for store credit and the sales rep tells me that unfortunately I was given the wrong information and the store credit option is only valid up to 60 days and I had missed that 60 days by 5 days, so therefore I was stuck with this $70 product that I could never use and with no store credit. I asked to speak to a manager, because I felt like this was extremely wrong. I was given the wrong information by their sales representative at that store. The manager, Alexander reiterated the same thing with no empathy, and no apology that one of their sales representatives had given me the wrong information. He simply stated that it was over 60 days and there was nothing he could do. I’m a businesses owner myself and when I or my staff make a mistake we do what it takes to make it right, so this felt very wrong. I’m a VIP member, I’ve NEVER (prior to this) had a return over 60 days and had I known what the correct policy was, I would’ve been there before 60 days. I think the correct thing to do would be to apologize, make a one-time exception and allow me to return the product. He instead gave me the customer service number and I called customer service, the representative asked if they could speak to Alexander and they also agreed that based on the circumstances they should give me a store credit, Alexander said he would check in with his general manager and his general manager, said no, there are no exceptions. So here I am, with a product I’ll never use, writing this review because this was a horrible experience and I’ll never shop at this...
Read moreNOT BABY FRIENDLY!!! I went this morning with my baby because in a real world you don’t pay babysitter just because you are going at Sephora! So I went trying to buy a Dior perfume for a Christmas gift! I just put down for a moment my baby’s bottle water on top a furniture that didn’t have anything and the lady from Sephora staff told that y need to remove it and she saw it was a baby bottle and she touched in a rude way but first I didn’t put my baby in the floor because are expensive and frágil things so I didn’t want that my baby touched so I just wanted try the perfumes really quick because this perfume that I wanted was next to the cashiers so I was just putting my baby on top of this wood furniture (empty) and she told me really rude that I had to move my baby “we don’t want your baby broke it”. I left the store and I hope this young lady can understand in a moment of her life that real moms need to go shopping too with their babies My baby wasn’t touching anything or doing something bad I bough this perfume at Macy’s by the way!!! They got me a tree gift! Thank you for nothing! If you have babies please don’t go to Sephora or not Tuesdays around 10 AM you don’t want a bad experience ! It was a terrible bad experience, if you are not a friendly person pls don’t work at...
Read moreI purchased the cologne sampler kit in-store because it came with a redeemable voucher for a full-size product. However, when I got home and opened it, the voucher was missing. I went back to the store to ask for help, and the manager immediately asked if there had been a plastic seal on the zipper. When I said no, they told me, “Oh, then it was probably stolen.”
I honestly can’t believe the store is aware that these vouchers are being stolen and still continues to sell these kits without checking them first. If they know the signs of tampering, why not inspect the products before letting customers pay full price for something incomplete? It’s also disappointing that they don’t seem to make any effort to track or replace missing vouchers, it feels like the responsibility is unfairly pushed onto the customer.
Their only offer was to let us choose from what they had in stock or get nothing, and of course, they didn’t have our top two choices. We bought this kit specifically for the flexibility of choosing whichever cologne we wanted, but we didn’t get that experience at all because the store sold us a tampered product.
Very frustrating experience, I expected better quality control and customer care from a store like this. I won’t be purchasing sampler...
