First performer hit several screaching notes that were deafening, that might have been pretty wonderful if the sound person had actually done something about it... Seats were placed so that it was difficult to see the stage over taller/higher hair/hat wearing folks... Bartenders dropped bottles into trash throughout both performances that could be heard loudly over the music (bar area/entrance/restrooms all right next to stage and seating - it's a huge venue - why not separate these areas!?!) Light from entrance infringed on stage lighting and all the talking from people entering, getting a drink, buying band stuff, using restrooms, etc. was so distracting and disrespectful to performers. Read moreOur first time seeing a concert here (Mom Jeans, Sad Park, and Saturdays at Your Place) and we had a great time. The venue was spacious and simple, but it sounded good, was lit properly for a show like this and had great staff coordinating parking, entry, and services inside. Drinks were 7-10 bucks (with the cocktail being a great option), which again, is pretty normal and a solid for a show like this.
Things like the parking staff observing our handicapped placard and waving us through to the right spaces, plus a great system for stage divers and circle pits that actually let people have a blast doing the kind of things they love at punk/emo shows without ignoring risk or safety.
