My FAVORITE coffee shop, period. The staff are warm and friendly, the crunchers are insanely tastie, and the depth of flavor, tone, and richness the different coffees they make is superb. If you are a coffee snob, come in, order any of the flavors, and sit back for a journey.
As for Mr Mark Vinton and your 1 star review: I was here when you, your Mrs, and your dog pulled up, came in, and attempted to bring an undertrained, obviously not legal service dog, into the shop. So was another customer, aside from the employees. It was a little weird watching you take facade photos with your digital camera before you even came in, and the phone camera photos after, as though you were here with a motive. But I have been called protective before…
Here’s where small business owners are kinda stuck with Service animals vs emotional support animals. Federal law says only service animals can be in places of Food Service, and that they must be trained under control. Pets and emotional support animals are excluded from ADA guidelines. Your animal was not under control of your Wife.
I get that you want your fur baby with you, but your desires do not get to override State or federal law. This place is an amazing business and. I know you and your wife would love it. It IS a dog friendly facility, with MANY regulars bringing their fur babies to enjoy the atmosphere and fellow love from customers.
I would ask as a pet owner, Disabled Veteran, and a coffee fiend, PLEASE take down your 1 star review and give this place a fair shake. I’d be happy to pay for your families coffee because I know if you try it,...
Read moreHands Down, the best coffee I have had in SLO. I read about them in an article.
Pretty decent parking around, especially compared to other spots around. No permitting, no restrictions, and free.
The atmosphere is super open air. The overhead doors stay open whenever the weather is good (from what i’ve seen driving by) and everything is super homey. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, and a bathroom.
My girlfriend and I ordered a london fog and horchata latte with a coffee cake and a cookie.
It was delicious. The coffee is high quality, not too much sweetness to take away from this either. The amount of ice used in the drink was perfect. The prices are GREAT as well. I think some may want more sweetness but I would rather have not sweet enough than too sweet so you can adjust it to your liking. It was perfect for me.
The coffee cake was fresh, moist, and reasonably priced. The cookie was amazing as well, and both of the items were massive.
Between ordering drinks for 2, coffee cake, and cookie, the total came out to about $18 before tip. Amazing considering how much I’ve grown accustomed to spending around here.
The service was very quick, I had my drink within a minute, my girlfriend had hers in minutes.
Can’t recommend this...
