Belle de Jour Salon — Attraction in Sandy Springs

It's been a few days and I still catch myself in awe of my hair whenever passing a mirror. It's crazy what a great hair stylist can do that extends so much further than just changing the color of your hair. I Walked in with my lifeless bun of hair among many other clients as the doors opened at 08:30. There were already a good handful of other women waiting in their cars for the salons opening to get their Fix in. This alone was such a great sign that I was walking into something reputable and spectacular. I was greeted immediately and shown around with the offerings of multiple beverages and candies they had laid out. Then walked to the dressing room shortly before receiving a friendly introduction to the owner and my stylist. Ashley my Stylist, asked a few questions regarding the integrity of my hair and the color I desired to reach. A few Pinterest inspo photos were shown and she said she was set and ready to get started. The whole exchange from the very moment made me feel at complete ease with confidence that my hair was in great hands. The night before I did have somewhat of nerves, since finding a great Blonde hair Stylist and more importantly colorist is extremely hard to find. Yet Ashley was able to reach the exact expectations of the color I fell in love with. She truly left me speechless with the work she had done on my own hair. The entirety of the whole service was so full of skill,smooth and graceful. The Owner herself even came over to chit chat and share stories with the two of us, giving the environment such a genuine, fun and relaxed aroma. I'm Grateful for having found this salon and I know I've found a gem with this amazing soul of a hair...

My hair turned out nice which is sad and I’ll explain why. Saw Mary for Balayage. This was my first time having her do my hair and my first time at this salon. I won’t ever be back, not because the salon isn’t lovely. I actually believe the owner cares about clients and quality of work. However, the way I was treated would never allow me to return. Mary treated me like I was a client she did not want.Asked me if I just “hop from salon to salon “ because I told her I recently stopped going to my current salon. ( my hair stylist moved). She then told me how dry and damaged my hair is while discussing it with other stylists in front of me. She was not friendly, made no conversation with me as if she didn’t care if I ever came back. To put it simply- she came across extremely snobby. I was super confused because I was so excited for my hair and to find a new stylist I love! This experience left a horrible taste in my mouth as a customer. I wish I would have scheduled with someone different! Overall - hair looks good. I’m happy with it. I wish I would have discovered this salon years ago. It is top notch. I was unhappy with the results from an another salon and in need of a color correction. Andrea, the owner, and Alli were very knowledgeable and took their time to listen to my concerns, hair history, and options to correct the color while keeping the integrity of my hair. I felt comfortable to proceed with an appt. Alli was meticulous and thorough as she transformed an unflattering dark and warm red/orange color and tones to overall dimensional blonde. What I thought would take multiple visits to achieve this, she did in just one. My husband and I were blown away. She is also very sweet.
