Been here multiple times now and have been waiting to formulate an opinion of the store. My 1st experience was good, the stand in staff member was very kind and assisted myself and kids with the learn to paint a free minature given to you by the store. So I planned to return when they announced they would be getting Lt titus minis in stock around Christmas. I was advised by the employee that the Facebook page would offer the most accurate up to date news about the store. So when the Facebook page posted that the titus mini was available and to come on in to get yours today! I went to the store only to be told: 1. We do not have him, and aren't sure when we will. 2. We also do not have the mini of the month and aren't sure when we will. Frustrating to say the least, but it happens. So I go to the secondary Market for the Lt titus model and get one for about half of what I would have paid at the store. Next issue is, I went in to get the mini of the month in February, and SURPRISINGLY they had it. During this visit, I brought my sons cousin with us to paint his first mini through the store program, and the employee when asked, visibly showed distan at the question stating "I'm about to go on my scheduled lunch, and have a lot of work to do after. Try calling ahead next time." So my son's cousin sadly left empty handed this day. The mini of the month is an item that is offered while supplies last. Warhammer.com says these minis are offered beginning on the 1st of each given month. So April 1st I show up in the store and am told "sorry, they are actually available the 1st Saturday of each month". To which I think, sure that's fair I suppose. I couldn't return that Saturday, but thought to myself surely I I return the Wednesday after I could get one being that it would only have been 3 business days including Saturday that would have passed. But I show up today and am told "sorry they come the first Saturday of the month and are offered while supplies last". Was this store just not allocated very many ? Maybe, but the point I'm trying to make is that the customer experience here is lack luster at best. There is no food or beverage permitted inside, nor is there any inside the store despite them encouraging players to come play warhammers various games in store. The other issue is the store has no public restroom. How is one expected to play a game that can last 4+ hours and not need to use a restroom ? So despite the store saying they encourage play in store, the actuality of their store discourages it. Never have I witnessed anyone playing a game at the store which is bizarre.
If you want to play warhammer, visit your closest local game store that carries games workshop products. Typically the products are priced cheaper than this official GW store, and most online retailers are priced even cheaper. If you want the mini of the month, you better make sure to be there at opening time that first Saturday of the month or you will be very much so out of luck. Would not recommend coming to this store unless you have no other option, but given its location there are many other better options...

Read moreFirst visit to this store, fairly new to 40k hobby. For starters, the store's layout is a near perfect combination of dedicated floor space to peruse products, while still having enough room to promote a comfortable, social forum. Products were extremely well labeled and organized; I had no problem knowing where paints, boxed sets, codexes, and other accessories were located.
Killion was the employee on staff. He greeted me with a sincerely warm and enthusiastic manner, asking me what he could help me with. I informed him I was already starting to build an AdMech army, but wanted to do some window shopping as it was my first time there. Killion eagerly began asking me about specific questions about my army (forge world, Dunecrawler loadouts, etc) that revealed he was very well informed about the lore and enlightened to any nuanced requests I might have about my specific army's needs. Killion never tried to pressure me with any sales or left me feeling I was being taken advantage of as a new player.
There were two tables with active games taking place when I entered. One side table had two hobbyist actively painting and constructing models. This store felt like a true hobbyist escape, where the patrons looked like they were having a great time unwinding and hanging out.
I will definitely make it a point to stop by this store whenever I'm...
