This was my second time getting food from this establishment. I work down the road and went to pick up lunch for myself. Once I sat to eat my to go order I noticed the brown decaying spots in the broccoli. I called the store to inform them that they served me bad food and offered to send pictures. Upon receipt of the pictures, the manager, Hein or Cain (he didn't pronounce his name clearly), accused me of putting barbecue sauce on my broccoli. I thought that was extremely absurd, first because who puts barbecue sauce on their broccoli, and second because how would the broccoli sauce get into the stems but not cover the outside of the broccoli. I was truly disappointed with their customer service. All he offered me was a discounted coupon that he would mail to me. I felt like I either should have gotten a partial/full refund or an offer to remake my order fresh. When asked why I couldn't be given a refund he stated he can't give money back to every customer that didn't like how their food taste. However I think it's a big difference between not liking the taste and being served old rotten food.

There are no better hand breaded chicken tenders in Atlanta. After 6 years away, this was the first meal I ate on my return and it was as if no time passed. Almost nothing changed with the restaurant including the menu and the quality of the food. Roasters Sandy Springs is immaculate inside and well managed with noticeable long term staff. Managers and the owner often circulate ensuring the food and service are top notch. Apart from the chicken tenders, the white chicken chili, french fries, cornbread stuffing, and sweet potato soufflé are favorites. If ever Thanksgiving seems too far away, the turkey plate with turkey breast served over cornbread stuffing and gravy with cranberry sauce and 2 sides is another favorite that never goes wrong. Side note, recently the restaurant started charging 65¢ per cornbread muffin or white roll to cut down rising costs and what I’m sure was waste from bread service that not every customer consumed. Treat yourself to a cornbread muffin!

Apparently we found Georgia's version of Luby's lol. Average patron age was roughly 87. Sides were pretty great - broccoli cauliflower casserole and a massive baked potato. Mains were pretty gross/inedible though - spongy, bland meatloaf, and chicken fingers that had a really strong, odd taste in the batter (kinda like when vanilla extract smells supergood, but you taste it and it's actually nasty) Dude's plate was the same - great sides, gross mains. There's a menu option to just choose a platter of sides as your meal - deffo take them up on that! Server was awesome, as was draft Cherry Coke 👍👍 Oh oh oh and the cornbread - DO NOT sleep on that!

My family and I have been coming to this place for 10+ years. Great food and usually great service until we went today. We sat down waiting for service. Our waitress refused to serve us for no apparent reason. We were clearly in her section and never once did she acknowledge our presence other than to sneer at us from afar. We were told by another employee after several minutes that she would tend to us soon. She never did so. She tended to everyone around us walking past us several times. She even cleaned off another table while continuing to ignore us refusing to make eye contact. Finally another employee had to come over to take our order and soon after we were assigned another waitress. My family and I happen to be African American. Our initial waitress was Caucasian. We happen to be the only African Americans in her section and I can't help but think she behaved the way she did with prejudice. We did nothing wrong and did not deserve to be treated as such. I even asked the employee who helped us if there was reason why she didn't tend to us and he nervously told us it was she was too busy. Keep in mind, I had already been observing her negative behavior towards us for the past 10 minutes. I became so angry I had to leave the restaurant when all I wanted was the right to enjoy my meal with my family just like everyone else and not feel unwelcome. This is the fourth time I have experienced this in Georgia at other restaurants and and every time it has happened in this manor. This waitress needs to lose her job and I will pursue this further so that others will not have to experience this because I absolutely love to eat...

I hadn't reviewed places for a while because nothing really motivated me to leave a good or bad review. This place was absolutely tremendous! I got the turkey and stuffing, with green beans, mash potatoes, cole slaw, and mac and cheese. The corn bread taste just like jiffy but a little less sweet. I love jiffy and loved this corn bread more than jiffy cause jiffy can be a lil too sweet.

The turkey wasn't dry and had a good flavor and texture to it. They also do not hold back with survivings. I struggled to finish just the turkey and im a big boy. It is more than enough. The green beans are fully cooked, soft, salted, juicy with the perfect flavor. I loved them. The cole slaw is like what you get from your kfc Popeyes but a little less sweet. Not that vinegar trash most people do. It's perfectly balanced; as all things should be😏. The mac and cheese is great. I can't explain it but its cheesy and not chewy which I prefer. Taste like mac and cheese lol. Taste better than Popeyes and kfc mac and cheese so yea. The star of the show was them darn mashed potatoes. My god so creamy that I almost called her! A perfect subtle flavor with a beautiful texture. You cannot go wrong with them and they give you ALOT. I forgot to even add the gravy but I tasted the gravy and I'm not a huge fan of it but I don't really care for gravy in general. This place is absolutely amazing and I advise everyone to try it. You will...

Went in Thursday evening on 6/19/25 with my husband. Our waitress was distant engagement-wise and we never even got her name. Ordered an appetizer and halfway through it, she comes back and says “are you going to order anymore food or is that it?” This made my husband immediately turned off by the experience although he did not show it towards the waitress. She assumed the small appetizer was our dinner, but why? Was it because we looked “different” from the rest of the patrons there and she has ignorant, prejudiced views? I could be wrong but what else could it have been? I noticed she gave much more attention to her other tables. We ordered our meals and I wasn’t given ranch like I ordered. My husband waved her down as she walked by and asked for ranch. She says ok and as I look up I see her roll her eyes as she walks away. The food was bland, the collard greens come from a can. My meatloaf was mushy, watery, and undercooked. The chicken tasted like it didn’t have one speck of seasoning. I doused my food with hot pepper sauce and Texas Pete so I could taste something. We will never go back and I’ll tell others...
