We have had 2 birthday parties here, 1 for each of our children. It is convenient bc you can book online and most things are taken care of. However, there is a HUGE mark up on the items they provide, for example, they wonât you bring your own waters for guests bc they want to force you to buy their 10 waters for 13$ etc, and spend 600$ for a decoration package which includes a name sticker, a few balloons and a pedestal in front of a number. when itâs all said and done each party cost us over $2,100. For our daughters birthday in September, we had lowered the package bc less kids were coming than we expected when we booked so they said we would pay less the day of but they ended up still charging us the full amount. The parties are supposed to be two hours long, however, they kick you out of the party room after the first 1.5 hours. Our balloon animal person was was almost 20 minutes late. And for both parties we have had the guests see us being pushed out of the party room and having to hand out goody bags so they assume the party is over and this is the second time everyone has been gone 30 minutes before the party ends. It is easy and convenient but there is no structure to the party and for over 1,000$/ hr itâs just not worth it. There is also a 3% transaction fee no one tells you about which ended up being $63, as well as a service fee of 105$ , as well as another service fee of 61$, and tax of 103$. Plus I didnât know all those fees were added so we spent another 100 and tipped the party âcoordinatorâ (all they did was announce we were doing cupcakes) and tipped the face painter and balloon artists as well even though one was very late. I hoped that the the experience we had with our oldest was a fluke when it ended 30 minutes early but once again, the same exact thing happened and when they pack and clean everything and kick you out of the room, the guests think the party is over and every single guest was gone 30 minutes before the party ended. Again. which is very upsetting when you spend over 2,000 for a kids party. At this point weâve spent well over 4,000 there and donât feel that we received anywhere near 4,000$ worth of products or services. The venue is cute and it was easy and convenient but we feel we could have thrown a much more incredible party at our home or elsewhere for what we spent. Our party was supposed to end at 5:30 but as you can see on the receipt, it was packed up, over, loaded up, all guests were gone and we were paid by 5:21. Not a horrific experience but not a good one and after two tries, we will not be having anymore...
Read moreI chose to had my sons first birthday here because of the modernization of the facility and the catering options were more then the average pizza and fries at other locations. They also offer a lot in house extras like balloon decor, cupcakes and face painters, etc. Their packages do include decor (bare minimum) but I purchased all my own, the only items purchased from them was the food and the ballon decorations. The food was really good and I found out they order from the Hudson Grille that is in the same plaza.
My one complaint would be the event coordinator Meg! It was even more baffling when I found out that Meg is also an owner, which is disappointing that her customer service skills are below subpar. There was a miscommunication with the decor set up, which wasn't the problem it was how she handled the situation. She was very rude and disrespectful so much so that the other ladies on the staff had to keep apologizing for her rudeness. I will also say I had to call and leave several voicemails and send an email before she called me back leading up to the party which I wasn't a fan of.
The day of the party the other staff members were so helpful and accommodating with bringing my vision to life I really appreciated them. I probably won't be back because bad customer service has a lasting effect but it it a really nice facility and all the kids...
Read moreI don't usually write negative reviews, but my experience with Ready Set Fun for my daughter's princess party was very disappointing. The owner had included a balloon arch for free before the day of the event in return for a positive review but that could not make up for the shortcomings on the day of the party. The princess spa birthday package included a 90-minute party room rental, but there was only one staff member doing manicures for nine kids. I had to speak with her, who seemed quite young, to ask if she could finish in time and how many attendants usually handle this because it didn't make sense. I asked to speak with a manager, but none appeared. Eventually, the staff member managed to get one additional person to help. Unfortunately, the quality of the nail polish was so poor that my daughter remarked her dad does a better job.
To make matters worse, one of the food items - a fruit platter that was most popular with girls was inedible, and I had to pick out the few pieces that weren't rotten. For the amount I spent, I could have easily provided a better level of service at home and accommodated more kids with better quality food. I voiced my concerns at checkout and never received a follow-up from the establishment. With this kind of service, I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend Ready Set...
