Alva's Dulceria — Attraction in Santa Ana

I ordered center pieces for my son's birthday party here.They didn't have yo gabba gabba in the shop so the young lady said she would have the owner bring samples so I can see before I order. I had to come back FOUR TIMES and i heard excuse after excuse as to why they weren't there. So against my better judgement I decided to order the center pieces anyways the girl behind the counter was very convincing that they were cute and she was going to make them "extra' special since i had been in so many times. Well i was suppose to pick them on Thursday and were not done! I came in Friday at 3 in the afternoon and she was still working on my center pieces!!! They had glitter all over them, sloppy and the back of the character was painted a different color than the front and the girl would not do anything to fix she just said she could give me a refund if i wanted?! A REFUND THE PARTY IS TOMORROW!? What would I do now? there is a definite lack of professionalism in this establishment and will not recommend or go in this dirty/unorganized...

This is a great spot for a wide variety of candy. If you're looking for a place with Mexican chips, sugary drinks, tamarindo candy, pop suckers, candy, pinatas and many more. They have very authentic dia de la Muerte Skulls. If you're looking to throw a party for your friends and want to give them the experience of a Mexican party then this is your place. The prices are reasonable in my opinion. I always get the Pulparindo Tamarindo pretty good and Vero Rellerindos Tamarind flavors are great for any occasion.So good! Vero Rebanaditas Lollipop are also really good! All these in a pinata and you got a real party going on. The staff is cool if you need something...

This place has the worse customer service!! The cashier that is always there is very rude and unprofessional. I was there and they had listed the wrong price on one item $1 difference and the rude cashier said they could not honor what it said there because they can go bankrupt if they did that with every customer. Seriously?? one dollar?? and it's not the point of the dollar is how rude she was she stood there talking between her teeth about us it is very disappointing they would have someone like her working here. Definetly one of my worse experience ever!!!! I Do NOT recommend this...
