Northgate González Market — Attraction in Santa Ana

Decided to visit a couple times before I write this to see if I just went on a bad day but nah I didn’t it’s everyday. This store has slowly just been going down in quality in service. First at the Parking lot there is so many vendors. I respect the hustle but damn let me shop without being harassed to buy a product. I see you, if I want something I’ll come. At the entrance you are greeted by a guard who would catch more stolen merchandise if he didn’t flirt with every customer going in and out. Next, the fruit and vegetable selection quality is not the best. It’s either overly ripe or hard as a rock. Good luck getting something form the meat department. The prices are so high I get inflation but again damn. They see so many customers and they don’t have enough carniceros. Like bruh it’s the holiday season spend more money on staff so the customers don’t spend 15+ minutes waiting for meat. The isles themselves are pretty clean I’ll give them that. Finally, the worst for last. The cashiers. They are all rude and look like they don’t want to be there. The manager girl is a teenager with long black hair who is hella rude if you ask the simplest question in a polite way. It seems like she just wants to be done so she can continue to walk around and do nothing. The lines are insane. People line up at the express who shouldn’t be there and don’t get told anything. Save your money and time. There’s more groceries stores like a block away. Shame for a store that has been there for years. Whoever is the hiring manager needs to go for more experience...

I never reviewed places that I tend to shop but today august 25 ,2023 at around 1:45 pm I was really shock by one of the head cashiers. She was a blonde lady who was in front of the cashier who charge me I don’t know her name but she was in front of the cashier name Itzel . The cashier that was in front of her ask me to leave my stuff with one of the cashiers as if I was going to steal. I was going to buy one thing and I had just gotten out of work so I had one bag in my hand from the cvs next door and a backpack. No matter how much stuff I am carrying with me I have never been ask to leave my stuff with one of the cashiers before so it took me by surprise and it made me feel bad. I don’t have a car so I have to carry my stuff with me. My mom and I are loyal costumers from this supermarket but after today I rather buy stuff from somewhere else. And the issue is not that they ask me to leave my stuff if not the way the head cashier said it. I only bought one thing that took less...

I like going to the Gonzalez Market which is also called Northgate the samples are delicious when they have them the prepared meats are really good there the prepared food they have the barbacoa good chicken salad hot wings burritos rice the salsas guacamole just about everything there is delicious I know because I've almost tried everything some a little bit spicy for but I don't mind suffering a little bit for for the taste the market some of the things that are little bit higher price but they do have a lot of different stuff nice fruit section have a good Bakery the cakes are good the bread is good they got the fresh bolillos like a regular Market with pluses if you never been the one you should go guaranteed of something you like specially in the prepared food...
