Stevens Park — Attraction in Santa Barbara

A nice little neighborhood Park, with some equipment for small kids to climb on, quite a few picnic tables, and nice open space. For even more peace and quiet, walk out the back of the park, into a pretty much unused shady area. On the way there, in the spring, check the embankment on either side for bountiful, beautiful nasturtiums. This is a beautiful park set amongst a quiet residential neighborhood. You have access to the Jesusita trail from here, but mainly it's a great park for the family. It's got a lot of shady spots, and great for kicking back, listening to your headphones, while reading a good book and perhaps a picnic. This is one of our favorite parks. It has good shade and lots of room to explore. There are two jungle gyms - one for little kids and one for older. There's a good amount of parking during the week.
