BEYOND / HELLO Santa Barbara Dispensary — Local services in Santa Barbara

2nd time going to this dispensary and I’d looked at their menu and knew I wanted two concentrates that were both on sale. I get into the bud room after waiting 10-15 minutes in the waiting room for there to be no 3rd person in the room to help me for a couple minutes. Once he did come out of the back he was helpful in getting the first concentrate I asked for by name but when I asked about the 50% off deals not remembering what the particular name or brand of concentrate was that I wanted he told me they had sold out. I then saw the concentrate in the distinct yellow packaging and asked about it thinking he may have made a mistake. He told me that was the same brand but that was only 25% off because it was a different concentrate because they had sold out of the 50% off one. I checkout and start driving home to notice I was charged $50 before tax for the concentrate I did get which was listed as $37.50, I turned around and got the difference refunded after having to wait 8-10 minutes to get in this time. Since everything felt so shady I checked the menu again today. They only have one strain available for the brand in the yellow packaging, it’s the one that’s 50% off and it’s still not sold out! Never...

Tough dispensary to rate. On one hand, the check in process takes is annoyingly long, something that probably gets worse when it's busy. And when I was there, only two budtenders were out helping people. I waited a while before getting helped.

So up until this point I was straight up frustrated but then it got better. My Budtender was amazing, and he steered me away from some flower he thought was less quality than another of the same price. So props to the homie. The selection there is decent but I really hate how they set it up in the shop, had to go online while in store to see the full menu. And for it being my first time, they gave me a pre roll, a backpack, and a discount and if I bring the backpack every time I visit I get a small discount for saving the planet or something. So I left very happy but the process itself probably means I'm hitting up my normal dispensary. Light 4 stars and I think...

DO NOT GO HERE!! This place will scam you. You’re better off going to SB Collective or Coastal Dispensary SB because they are transparent and have better prices. I came to Beyond and they have “deals” like BOGO 50% off but don’t tell you any fine print details. When I noticed their error of not actually honoring the BOGO deal for multiple items I purchased, I went back and the assistant manager said that there was no mistake and BOGO only counted on two of the items in my order, which was not on anyyyyy of the signs posted, nor was I told this information when I checked out. Also, the associates explicitly said it was store wide and encouraged me to buy multiple items when I initially made my purchase. The associates are nice but clearly not knowledgeable or transparent about the deals going on. Will never...
