Was in the area so came in for a full body 60 minutes massage for $60 cash. If you pay credit it’s $65. You pay the bill before the massage. We didn’t have an appointment but they were able to accommodate the two of us. This should have been an indication since normally a good massage therapist is usually not available for a walk-in.
Place looks clean. There’s an area that’s curtained which for foot massage. We were in a closed room with doors for the body massage. I got a guy. He didn’t introduce himself so I don’t know his name. They use a bath towel for body coverage instead of a full bed sheet or blanket. I didn’t like this since the bath towel felt more rough on my skin when massaging over top of it compared to a soft blanket or bedsheet. It also kept having to be adjusted because it doesn’t cover your whole body!
After a bit of time massaging over top of the towel, oil is used. Too much oil in my opinion but they do wipe it after with a warm towel which was also rough.
I have had hundreds of massages over the years and I must say this one was disappointing. Little to no technique, pressure not good even when asked for more or less pressure, doesn’t take instruction well so wasn’t hitting the knots I needed work on.
I didn’t feel like a tip was deserved but still gave $5 only to be told that is not enough and asked for more tip of at least $10 per person. I was a bit taken aback and felt so uncomfortable. I ended up giving each person a $10 tip, which on a $60 bill for mediocre service is excessive, just to get out of there.
I would not recommend this place for body massage unless you’re ok with subpar technique, rough towels, and...
Read moreIf you're into a great foot massage then this is your place. The full body and foot massages are the best I've had as far as in and out places. Parking is easy and there's almost never a wait. I love how most of the staff are trained in the same method. It's hard to find that at most other places. The prices are fair and they don't push you for a tip either. I like that since I want to pay what I feel is right. A great experience means a great tip. I usually give $15.00 to $20.00 tip when its good to great and $10.00 if its just ok. They do charge you a $1.00 fee if you pay by credit card. I try and pay in case...
Read moreIncredibly disappointing. The therapist seemed to have limited English proficiency, which made it difficult to communicate my preferences for massage pressure. Instead of using gentle, medium pressure as requested, she applied excessive force with her elbows, causing significant discomfort. The massage felt more like a painful ordeal than a relaxing experience. I was surprised by the lack of professionalism and expertise displayed by the therapist. I would strongly advise others to...
