Sizzling Pot House (鼎香砂锅馆) — Restaurant in Santa Clara

I recently dined at Sizzling Pot House and had an absolutely delightful experience. The rice noodles were cooked to perfection, with a texture that was both tender and slightly chewy, exactly how they should be. The flavors were incredibly well-balanced, from the rich, savory broths to the fresh, crisp vegetables and perfectly seasoned proteins.

The menu offers a wonderful variety of options, ensuring there’s something for everyone, whether you prefer a mild or spicy dish. I particularly enjoyed the yellow braised chicken which was a symphony of flavors and textures, leaving me wanting more with every bite.

This is our first time doing a sizzling pot instead of the common sizzling plate. The small place was crowded and you had to sign in on a clipboard outside the entrance door. Since there's no menu, you scan the QR code on the table an order food from the application. There are waiters but they're mainly for serving and providing water. My autistic son ordered the braised pork ribs which came with rice if you didn't order the combo. He liked the dish, but did not like picking out the bones. They are doing grand opening now. The food was great! There are a few points that impressed me:

The ingredients are fresh. Some restaurants used frozen chicken or other meats. I could tell they are using fresh ingredients. And they didn’t over used oil to make their food which happens in many Asian restaurants. Also, the rice is in good quality and cooked well.

The meal is good value for money. I understand it’s grand opening and they maybe doing some limited promotion. However, only the regular meal itself is priced better than similar restaurants
