Extremely Disappointed - Horrible Service and High Prices
I recently visited Lucky's at Lawrence Expressway Plaza in San Jose, California, and I must say, I had an extremely disappointing experience. The first thing that struck me was the exorbitant prices. Everything seemed to be priced unreasonably high, making it difficult to justify any purchase. It's disheartening to see such inflated prices, especially considering the economic climate.
But the prices were not the only issue. The service I received was absolutely horrible. The staff seemed disinterested and unwilling to help. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them. I encountered rudeness and unprofessionalism during my visit, which left me feeling frustrated and unwelcome.
On a slightly positive note, the parking situation at this location was decent. However, given the fast-paced nature of the Bay Area and this particular location, even the parking couldn't compensate for the overall negative experience.
In conclusion, I would rate this location as horrible. The combination of excessively high prices, abysmal service, and the overall rushed atmosphere made it an unpleasant place to shop. I would strongly advise others to consider alternative options...
Read moreConveniently located at the corners of El Camino and Lawrence Expressway, this plaza is anchored by a Lucky Supermarket & 24-hr Fitness, while the rest is filled by a Big Lots store and a couple of Indian restaurants. You also got a Starbucks, a Denny's and a Mexican Taco Food Truck 🚛🚒🚒. But perhaps, believe it or not, the most popular store is the tiny little Liquor Store between am Indian eatery & the Big Lots store. I.brt they do more business than either of the aforementioned store , it is frequented by lots of homeless and lottery players. This is also why I . giving it a 2-star, because these homeless can be somewhat obnoxious, I once had one that followed me to my car, scared the heck out of me. Also, these homeless are constantly drinking, and they littered the plaza with half-drunk liquor bottles or beer cans. So, keep your eyes open, be aware of where you park your cars, I'd recommend far away from the liquor store, and park on the far side of Lucky's &...
Read moreThis is the Denny's in Sunnyvale. Every 10k miles I drop my car off at the VW dealership and while I wait, I drift a few blocks and have breakfast at Denny's. It's the only time I ever eat at Denny's and it has become a ritual I really look forward to. Sometimes I bring my woman with me, she's not as into it as me. Coffee, a grandslam meal, and a lot of sitting around until my car is done. It's never busy, the staff is very friendly, the food as predictable as your lack of imagination could ever ask for. Denny's is a ritual, a sacred rite. But...
