Overall, great event venue but here is my Good, Bad and Ugly review of last night. First, taking public transit. The good: getting there was flawless, fast and cheap! The bad: getting home when everyone was leaving at the same time was absolute chaos. It was so hard finding and getting to where you needed to be to line up for train. It took us over an hour to get from our seats to our train and then another hour to get home from there. The ugly: there were no stops announced on the train, the train was too brightly lit on the inside to be able to see the signs for the stop outside at the station and, worst of all, the inside digital display only showed "Green line - date/time - stop requested" but didn't display any station stops!! Given we were travelling from one end of the line to the other, we had to keep asking people what stop they were getting off at so we could get an idea of when to get off. We didn't even really know we were at our stop until we were standing on the platform and could actually see again.
Second, the food. Great that there were food options on each level! Bad: $8.75 for 8 ounces of tea and $18 for 3 chicken strips and small fries? The ugly: the tea tasted terrible and the chicken strips were so thin that they were translucent. Maybe they were made with lunch meat? They were really that thin and mostly breading. For almost $30, I would expect to get something that at least tasted OK.
Venue crowd management: not sure how it was later but when we got there, we basically walked off the light rail and to our seats. It took maybe 15 minutes to get from the station to our seats and that includes all the security checks, 3 escalators and walking around our floor to our section and to our seats. Couldn't have asked it to be better. Leaving was total chaos and confusion. We definitely could not go out the way we came. We ended up taking the stairs down just to get away from the crowds and there did seem to be lots of stair options so I would recommend just taking the nearest stairwell out and finding your way from there. The area outside the stadium wasn't much better in that there (also chaos and confusion) but at least you were outside. If I go again, I would love some tips on how to get out because this was the worst part about the night.
The seats: great view of the stage and the fireworks seemed to be so close that I'd flinch just a little each time they went off (but so beautiful!). The bad and the ugly: I could see where if you were there on a hot day, the direct sun in your face would be brutal and I could also see where the wind could be freezing as well. But this was a perfect night where the sun wasn't too hot and the wind wasn't too cold so no complaints there. Seats were nice and there seemed to be a little more leg room than SAP or other venues I've been at. I would definitely get our seats again in section 313 for another concert in the round or consider the opposite side of the stadium if I thought sun was going to...

My recent experience with the police at Levi Stadium left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. As part of the equipment truck serving the national team Mexico during the Gold Cup, I found myself in a restricted area. Despite being there since morning, my day took a turn for the worse when one of the officers abruptly insisted on removing me from the area because I didn't have a required wristband, which was never provided to me in the first place.
First and foremost, the lack of communication and organization surrounding the wristbands was a significant flaw. As someone involved in serving the national team, I expected clear instructions and proper equipment to be provided before entering restricted areas. Unfortunately, this was not the case, leaving me unaware of the requirement until the officer confronted me in the late afternoon. It was incredibly frustrating to be singled out and penalized for something that was not my fault.
Furthermore, the officer's handling of the situation was disrespectful and unprofessional. Instead of approaching me with understanding or attempting to find a solution, their immediate response was to force me out of the area. The lack of empathy and consideration for the circumstances was disheartening, especially given the nature of the event and my role in supporting the national team.
The incident not only disrupted my work but also reflected poorly on the overall experience at Levi Stadium. As an attendee and participant, I had hoped for a smooth and enjoyable environment. Unfortunately, the encounter with the police left a lasting negative impression.
In addition, the absence of any form of resolution or assistance from the police further added to my dissatisfaction. No effort was made to rectify the situation, provide alternative options, or help me navigate the restricted area in a legitimate manner. The lack of problem-solving and customer service was evident, leaving me feeling unsupported and frustrated.
Overall, my encounter with the police at Levi Stadium was highly disappointing. The lack of effective communication, the disrespectful treatment, and the absence of any assistance or resolution demonstrate a severe lapse in professionalism. As a member of the team serving the national team Mexico during the Gold Cup, I expected a higher standard of support and organization. I hope that Levi Stadium takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving their communication and treatment of attendees and participants...
Read moreWe went to the 49's vs Seahawk game, Veteran day 11/11/19. Wow!! We had a Lyft ride to the game. There were signed to drop off however when we followed them there was no drop off area. Our driver just pulled to the side of the road to let us out. We arrived around noon and it was already packed with people waiting to get in the parking lot. The parking is large and there were port-a-pottys available. We made our way across the parking lot to the amusement park where the Red Zone Rally event was being hosted. Red Zone Rally is an additional cost. This is hands down the best thing ever! You can spend 3 hours prior to the game, all you can eat & drink, riding a roller coaster and listening to live music. Totally worth it. After our fill at the Red Zone Rally we made our way to the stadium. There are a couple of entries points and you will have to go through security. Please check stadium guidelines for bags and what's acceptable to bring with you. They put your bag through a xray machine and this is a separate area. Once through bag check we could enter the stadium. My friend had all our tickets on her phone and it did take a few minutes to pull those up. Not sure if it was a WIFI thing but we weren't the only people with this issue. The stadium itself has lots of things to look at and explore. We walked through the vendors area. There was plenty of food and drink vendors as well as the NFL store. Lines were long but moved quickly. Lots of bathrooms available with little or no lines. Phone charging stations available but bring your own cables (and plug in part) to ensure you can charge your phone. Our seats were nice and near the field. Large screen TV show the actions so you don't miss anything. Be aware that people stand so you may be standing for part or all of the event. You can have food and drinks delivered to your seat. Food and drink vendors do walk around selling however if you see them get their attention immediately as they sell out of items. I used cash not sure if they take cards. The weather was nice and comfortable but did cool down after dark. After the game, we decided to ride the TVR (?) train, Cal train and city bus to return to Fishermans Wharf. We asked a police officer and he was helpful in getting us on the right route. We had to purchase TVR (?) Train tickets at the NFL store in the stadium. I suggest using the restroom before leaving and if using trains to be prepared to stand and be crowded. Overall, I found the stadium easy to navigate, lots of bathrooms, phone charging stations...
