This review is for the dog park only. This park is in a neighborhood very close to the freeway entrance. We were on our way home and decided to let the dogs do their business first. There's no water or poopie bags available. It is a all in one, meaning large and small dogs in one area . Still my dogs meet a couple of friendly dogs. For not having bags available,it was a fairly clean park.

Fun, local band (Mountain Drive) playing bluegrass and a local family making very yummy tacos. Bring your own chair for Fridays in Grant St park. Nice to see people enjoying the neighborhood.

Park is well kept and has picnic tables under some beautiful redwoods. The best time to visit is 12pm-4 pm, just my opinion. JJC Electric

Apparently they resurfaced the basketball court, but there are even less play structures, and even fewer wood chips to walk on under the play structures... SO the slides are dangerously high when you get to the bottom of them, if you are a small child. This park HAD two of the very coolest swings I ever saw - those big round metal saucer type swings! But now, there is only one left. The rocket ship shaped structure is now bent and falling over, and another structure is missing altogether! I'm not sure what improvements they're planning here, but hopefully it's more, because it's still falling apart. The playground is falling apart like crazy. We still had fun though, we met another kid and it was fun enough, but it would have been MORE fun if there had been TWO swings STILL, and if there had been ANOTHER play structure in the missing spot! But it is what it is, it's Grant Street Park. It was very CLEAN for that park, to...

A perfectly normal neighborhood park with several different options for how to spend your time. There is a small baseball field that serves as open space, a small fenced in dog park on the grass, a basketball court, a pretty large and creative climbing-oriented play structure, and a bunch of tables in the shade of a bunch of redwood trees. There's nothing super special about the park that will make you want to travel from afar to visit it, but it's a good resource for the neighborhood it's in. You can enter from either side, but parking is limited to street parking so you might...

Sunny, beautiful grass and picnic tables. Really really cool park, actually two, one is fenced in for younger kids. Dog park, clean bathrooms, basketball, baseball field. The missing star is due to the occasional individuals that can often be found napping in the shade. These people are generally polite and harmless; however my child always notices and it rises questions, not always a bad thing, it makes for a humbling and educational conversation. If this type of thing makes you uncomfortable you may just want to drive by and check it out before commiting an...
