At my age and with my experience in the professional customer service in retail and corporate management world, I always look out for and compliments any individual whether it's just the cashier or the manager of the store on duty and I know I know what I'm talking about.
I've been going into this particular store 4/6 years now and there is the manager on duty usually they're in the evening, I don't have her name off the bat because I've always been forgiving to her but this draw was the last one that broke my camel's back.
I have never seen a consistently disappointing episode like every time I go in and have to have any interaction with the the woman that is the manager on duty in the evening and I feel like if you don't like your job and you don't like the people you work with and you don't like the customer's you might want to look for another job.
The experience that I have every time I go to come into the store is a -1 and the example that I have of the experience is any question or any interaction with this woman always comes out to be negative and I feel like she always treats me like I'm below her and I noticed his last visit. That's how she treats her employees I don't think they liked it and that's how she treated three customers and one visit there it has come to the point where as a local girl makes good I'm going to have to spread the word and nobody's going to want to shop when she is there so maybe corporate will see this and do something about...

The items were refunded no problems but I was missing parts of my order and there was some time sensitivity and unfortunately I wasn’t able to get them anywhere else online on that same day.
So, what I learned was ‘don’t count on World Market’- only order things that aren’t time critical.
Other than this recent poor experience World Market is part of my Christmas shopping each year. They have the best options for nice wrapping paper with many more options than any other brick and mortar. And the country specific food sections are great.
A nice touch this year was the online Christmas shopping experience where you could browse the shelves etc and get...
Read moreI love this store and all of the products. Unfortunately, it's a beautiful store, but the bathroom is atrocious. And, as a member for many years I have never, not once, been able to benefit from the member Rewards. Our store here in Santa Cruz California, on River Street, never stocks enough of the free items to give out to very many members. It's a horrible advertising gimmick to get people to the store, some people don't have the money to drive across town to find out that the free thing is no longer available. And I don't understand why you don't have something to compensate...
