I recently visited the Patagonia outlet store, and I have to say, it's a pretty impressive location. The space is large and spacious, making it easy to navigate and browse through their wide selection of outdoor gear and apparel. One of my favorite features was the cozy little reading nook they have set up with a few chairs and a rug—it's a nice touch that invites you to relax and take your time while browsing through their selection of books. I also enjoyed the music selections that were playing.
However, as someone who typically wears a men’s 3XL, I found myself feeling frustrated during this visit. Unfortunately, Patagonia's offerings in larger sizes can be quite limited, and I ended up leaving without finding anything that fit me. This was disappointing, especially considering the time I spent exploring the store.
For those who are smaller than me, I can see why this store would be a fantastic experience. The selection is diverse, and the quality of Patagonia's products is well-known. Just keep in mind that with the “Patagonia” label comes a higher price point, which might not be suitable for everyone.
Overall, while I appreciated the spacious layout and relaxing atmosphere of the store, my personal experience was somewhat disappointing due to the lack of larger size options. If you’re in the market for quality outdoor gear and fit comfortably into their available sizes, this outlet is definitely...
Read moreMy experience here was a 10/5. I made my purchase and had to return later to get the name of the gentleman that so kindly helped me- Peti. The manager was out and I wanted to explain how awesome he was. Hopefully this gets to the manager :) and anyone needing expert assistance with wetsuits :)
I was standing confused in the wetsuit area. I needed to get a wetsuit for my son in Jr Guards. Unsure what to get- kids 14 or adult XS, S-? what thickness? and the best deal possible. Peti was at the door, saw me and asked what I was looking for. He jumped right in and happily helped me with everything. He even went upstairs to look for right size in sale models. Twice. I was VERY happy to find the perfect suit at an amazing price. Peti knew everything there was to know about the wetsuits. I learned a ton. As I walked through the store, I heard an employee ask another employee, is Peti back from lunch? Peti? I interrupted...He’s been helping me for the last 20+ minutes! The employees smiled and said what a great guy Peti was, so helpful all the time. What?! He helped me on his lunch break? How awesome is that?! I’m so very very appreciative. That’s an A+ employee for sure. I didn’t even know. He was just totally happy to help us. So. THANK YOU...
Read moreThis place is mind blowingly awesome!! It took me a long time to write this review due to traveling, but I’m finally happy to get to it and let the public know that this store friggin’ rocks! You’ve never seen deals like this on the best gear on the planet. I mean, insane! Brand new stuff, not seconds, at a fraction of the cost that it usually sell for. I received absolutely stellar five star service from team members Kristin, Annie Sarah and Kaitlan. There was also a Rad guy helping me out at the register too, but I forgot his name (sorry buddy)!
I still don’t quite get how it’s possible lol (because Patagonia is the best company on the planet?!), but every kind of Patagonia gear you can imagine—whether a wetsuit, down jacket, bike shorts, powder bibs, or whatever—will be on sale here at some point in time, and for the lowest price that you’ve never seen anywhere else. I mean, you have literally never seen prices this low. I sound like an advertisement and I don’t mind.. The shop also has all of the latest and greatest that you can imagine. It just saves you money walking in the door, even though you’ll spend $1000 if you’ve got it to spend. Thanks again, folks at the Santa Cruz Patagonia outlet, y’all are the...
