Dashing Delivery — Attraction in Santa Fe

I may have written a review before but just in case I wanted to write a review. That’s how impressed I am.

I just moved here to Santa Fe two weeks ago from Houston, Texas after living there for over 67 years! I am very happy to be here.

I ran across Dashing Delivery on a fluke last week. I called to get info on how things work (everything new and a discovery!) and spoke with Amber the Office Manager. Wonderful gal and very professional. Ordered up some food and her lead driver came (also very professional) and I got some cool give-a-ways that I am actually using. Delivery came as quick as possible considering it was rush hour for ordering food on a Friday night. The important thing is that the food arrived fresh and hot. I am very impressed and we’ll be using these folks on a regular basis. I especially like the fact they are a local company, been around a while and have relationships with a LOT of restaurants. The guy I talked to was extremely accommodating. I would have liked to tip AFTER the delivery, since service is what a tip is based on, but they expect you to pay right away. It was also about $17 more than what I had calculated with the delivery fee and 20% tip. However, I live really far from the particular restaurant and JS made certain my food arrived warm and within a reasonable timeframe. Make sure to call because the website didn’t include this particular restaurant (India Palace). It’s our favorite restaurant in Santa Fe but it isn’t shown in the list of where they deliver from. This was a great way to ruin a Saturday night. I spent over $40.00 on a delivery order; to start off with, I was charged a tip, even though I selected not to. After over an hour wait, the food showed up cold, with items missing. After calling twice (I was hung up on the first time), I was placed on hold for 2.5 minutes. When I finally spoke with a rep, he seemed utterly clueless. I was refunded my delivery fee (we shall see if it shows up on my card), but this was not worth the money.
