Super huge and nice park on Ocean Park Blvd. and near the Santa Monica airport. Tons and tons of free grassy areas, lots of parking, especially for Santa Monica, various sports fields/courts, including: baseball, basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, etc., not to mention various exercise apparatus and playground equipment like jungle gyms and monkey bars. One of the highlights for younger children (but not too young...) is a giant (about 2 stories) metal rocket with a spiral staircase hidden beneath the shiny sheet metal of the fuselage. Once you ascend the stairs, you can speak with other people on the ground through a Navy-style speaking tube and take a fast trip to the ground level on big slide. Clover park is very nice as JUST a park, but the extra room, quiet neighborhood, and wide range of activities and resources it offers (BBQing is also welcome, but no overnight tents...) make it a real excellent choice for picnics or other family day outings. There are restrooms and drinking fountains available to the public, and the park is kept very nice with a wholesome feeling pervading the atmosphere; usually it is full of families or groups of children traveling with their school class or camp group, making the location seem especially upbeat and enjoyable. The nearby Santa Monica Airport gives park-goers a good chance to watch a selection of local, private jets, airplanes, and helicopters as they take-off and land. It is an exceptionally nice place to take your family without spending a ton of cash or worrying too much about a potentially stressful experience ruining your...

Clover Park

A nice and small community park around the corner. It is also next to the airport for private jets and a business park. Lively, clean, safe and friendly.

Families walk the dogs, play soccer, baseball, jog and quick walk like me. There is a concrete path for people to walk. The total length is probably less than a mile. I walked 2-3 times until dark and still felt a bit too short.

The restroom is clean unlike the ones in Santa Monica Pier area. Also no homeless around this area. If you are hungry, a few blocks around here, there are just many options. Sidewalk on Ocean Park Blvd is clean, nice, and well maintained.

It is a pleasure to walk here to see kids and families play, exercise and be a part of this community. It is always good to visit part regardless...

Clover Park, situated in the charming Ocean Park neighborhood, is a perfect haven for sports enthusiasts and families alike.

The park offers a vast baseball field, several tennis courts, and a delightful playground that promises hours of fun for children. Additionally, a volleyball court is conveniently located adjacent to the kiddos play area, ensuring entertainment for all ages.

Towards the rear of the park lies a large open space commonly referred to as "the pit," ideal for a variety of sports including baseball, soccer, and much more.

Moreover, aviation enthusiasts (aviaconado?) will take pleasure in watching planes taking off from the nearby Santa Monica Airport, adding a unique backdrop to an already...

This park is very well maintained and offers a nice open space with plenty of facilities. It’s big enough to accommodate multiple areas, there’s a beach volleyball court, basketball court, softball and baseball fields (the softball area appears to be under renovation),and kids’ playground. There’s also a wide paved path that loops around the park, great for walking, jogging, or strollers—especially if you prefer not to walk on the grass. Dogs are welcome as long as they’re on a leash, which is always a plus. Restrooms are available and well maintained so are water fountains.
