Service was good considering I was the only one eating outside at the time. I ordered the bento with a side of udon noodle soup. I chose the 3 item option of three sashimi pieces, pork katsu, and chicken katsu. Came with miso, rice, edamame, and salad.

Good presentation on a plate (I was sort of hoping for an actual bento). The best part of the dish was the sashimi pieces, the fish looked fresh and tasted good as expected. The two katsus were nice and thin and had a crunchy outer coating. However, the katsu itself was quite bland and lacked any notable flavor, I could barely tell the difference between the chicken and pork. The katsu sauce, though, was quite nice and wasn’t excessively sweet like many other comparable places. The udon noodles were just the right amount of chewy while the broth base was a bit lacking.

I'm sharing this negative review because I want to challenge Miyako to raise their standards. It's been a few years since I ate there and remember thinking it wasn't very good. I decided to give it another try as they are my neighborhood sushi place but was disappointed they haven't improved. The ramen was over salted, greasy, and had an unsavory smell. My partner ate as much as he could but we threw most of it out. Today he's taking Tums. He hasn't had indigestion this bad in a while. The sushi was creatively displayed, combined, and portions are generous. But it didn't taste quality. On a positive note, your staff is friendly, fast, and it's a great environment to sit at the bar. I love Ramen💖. I Found Miyako because a friend of me recommended me this place, at first I wasn't sure but this is a hidden gem! I got convinced once I got inside, the Japanese theme decor is awesome! 🌸 I love Tonkotsu ramen so I ordered a full portion (they got halfs too) but I never thought the plate would be so enormous and delicious!! 🤤🤤 I have come back multiple times after that, always looking for my favorite dish, really liked the place.👍 Sometimes it will take a bit of time to get your order, but be considered since they are really good they can get really busy, trust me is worth your patience. 👌
