We visited one of their properties this past May/June. We had several issues with cleanliness that we tried to take care of ourselves. These issues included dirty dishes/utensils and the actual fact there were no batteries in two out of three of the remotes for our TV's. The one that had batteries had dead batteries in it. There were blood spots and stains on floor and on a mattress cover. I contacted a person at the rental agency when we finally reached a point with some problem items we couldn't/shouldn't take care of ourselves. That was with a leaking dishwasher and dryer that had a bearing going bad which made it thump like a pair of shoes were in it, even unloaded. They did hastily dispatch someone to work on the appliances the next day. The maintenance guys fixed the dryer, but, we had to wipe up from the dishwasher leaking each day from Tuesday to Saturday using paper towels that we took with us. The maintenance guys were good guys and didn't cause problems other than coming and going four or five times while we were there, but, I felt that Beach Rentals at Navarre should have at least offered some sort of reparation for the aggravation of the cleaning problems which we fixed, and the appliances causing troubles during our vacation. I didn't press the point, but, told the appliance guy to tell them I wasn't happy about having to clean up the water from the dishwasher every day when I washed dishes. I waited a week to review this company in case they contacted us out of decency to offer a partial refund or discount. None has been offered and I'm not pressing the point. Because the woman was nice during my contact and the maintenance guys came quickly, I am calling them an average rental company. The place was beautiful, but, the aggravation took away from our family vacation in which I paid a major premium price though. I am posting pictures that we took the FIRST day of our visit.(LATE EDIT...GOOGLE DID NOT POST THE PICTURES THAT I DESCRIBE OF THE PROBLEMS....ONLY THE PRETTY VIEW FROM THE CONDO) I didn't take any of the dishwasher leaking or the blood stain on the mattress cover. I've already discarded a couple of pictures of the sand I swept up from around the dryer and washer the first day we were there. About a baby food jar full of sand was on the floor. Their cleaning crew has definite issues. it WAS a beautiful place to rent though. For what I paid, I expected more. ANOTHER LATE EDIT..... On the website from which we rented the place where stayed at , Navarre Beach Rentals explained that it was MY fault that I didn't call them and notify them of the mess. I DID call their office and spoke to a woman. I DID tell the woman that we had already cleaned up THEIR mess that was left behind after THEY cleaned. I called them after the appliance fiasco which was AFTER we had cleaned up their mess and could take no more aggravation. They WERE notified that I was UNSATISFIED by phone. I can't help who I talk to as their representative on the phone (They claim that it was their head housekeeper and I didn't say anything except that there was "a little sand" and that was all.) There was a baby food jar of sand left all around the hallway/washing machine area. I also told the appliance repair guy (a good guy) to tell them I was NOT satisfied with my stay and he promised that since he was going straight to their office that he would. I guess I should have called repeatedly and been a PITA to them. Then they would have been notified correctly. That comment claiming I was to blame on the other website which I cannot edit cost another star here on Google. Because their head housecleaner had offered to come clean and the appliance guy and maintenance guy had tried to fix up the broken stuff, I had given them an "average" three star rating. I had removed a star for the cleanliness and one for the leaking dishwasher that I had to clean up after daily. Now I remove another.    Read moreWhen we arrived at NT907, Camelot of the Gulf it was not or idea of Camelot. We discovered air conditioning wouldn't cool and it took two days for maintenance to arrive. They got it going eventually but two days, really?? The refrigerator was not working so they had to bring a cooler up but in the meantime the food we purchased from the store spoiled. As my friend told Navarre Tower manager of we were camping, a refrigerator would be great but we aren't! I opened the drawer to get some utensils out and the first two pieces of utensils had dried food stuck on them. I also opened the cabinet to pull out some cookware and there was rust on some of the cookware that could be rubbed off with a finger. I left items out for the cleaning crew to see. We were dissatisfied with the lack of cleanliness when we got there. The light outside our entry door was burnt out and being on the corner it becomes very dark and you canât see to get the key in the door. We were told they would be out to fix the light, no one ever showed. We called the office and spoke with a few people to get our issues resolved. We were told that the upper management would be calling us back because we felt like we were owed some compensation. When someone says they are going to call you back you expect to receive that call back but we never did. The trip was good but these little inconveniences put a damper on the beginning of it.    Read moreI rented from Beach Rentals at Navarre for the first time this year. The booking of the condo was great and the office was very helpful and I would book with them again but I would not book the condo we stayed in again. Iris' Getaway is in Navarre Towers (Unit 1203).
PROS: The view from the 12th floor was lovely. Kitchen has nice up to date appliances and had more than enough dishware and cutlery. The second bathroom in the hallway has a steam feature that was nice to have while taking a shower and the views from the master bedroom were fantastic. The balcony was also quite spacious. Maintenance was called to fix the shower head and they responded quickly and replaced the entire shower head which was very nice.
CONS: The entire unit needs to have several pieces of furniture replaced. Every single bed was very uncomfortable - especially the beds in the second bedroom - the KING bed is ancient and no telling when the mattress was last replaced. If it has been replaced recently it is very cheap and thin. When you sat on the sofa you immediately sink. We did not even open the sofa bed b/c we know how poorly the sofa sat. The chairs to the dining room table have ill fitting seat covers over them. The place could use a fresh paint job as well. They also need to invest in a better set of towels and wash clothes.
Once again I would book thru Beach Rentals at Navarre but not this unit unless it had been upgraded to match the amount of money they charge...
