This is one of my favorite parts of Santa Rosa. There is so much there, so much diversity and community. This was the transportation hub of all of Sonoma County and it will hopefully be more important again once the SMART Trains start actually carrying people. It was were much of the commerce took place for the entire County. While it is not the hub it once was, it is still culturally and economically important. It has fine energy and perfect examples of great local business, like the West End Farmers Market, Toad in the Whole Pub, The Arlene Francis Center and Bike Monkey and not so great.
