I have stayed at this hotel for two weeks. The 4 star rating of this hotel is coming from its location and brand name apparently; the actual rating for its room services is more like 2.9 which I feel they don't even deserve that. After a week of staying there I had to edit my reservation because of my work load in Napa. I went to the front desk where some "pretty ladies" are running the business during the day. She told me that they can't edit the reservation for me and I have to call the 1-800 number; I did so and after waiting on the line and talking to two different customer service representatives figured out that only someone at the hotel can edit my reservation, later that night I have referred to the front desk again and a very competent and nice lady took care of it in just 2 mins. I've explained to her about the misinformation that the girl during day shift provided. She apologized for that. Anytime I called during the day, it takes the girls a while to answer the phone (I have seen them hanging in the managers office more than the front desk). Another day I went to my room for lunch and found half of the carpets in my room wet. I called the front desk and the same girl picked up the phone who I barely could hear and then she hang up on me while I was explaining the issue. I had to walk downstairs to report the problem. They also lost my phone charger during moving from damaged room to another and never compensated for that. Apparently the manager at this location put the incompetent "pretty" girls during day shift who are clearly rude and don't know how to take care of customers; and put the competent girls and guys during graveyard shifts and weekends to work. I hope the franchise management and employees who have more experience like this with current manager seeing this comment and higher up improving the reputation by fixing this. In the era of Harvey Weinstein, it's a disgrace to see such managers in charge! I will have to move to another hotel for two more weeks that I need to be here for work.

Review of a wheelchair accessible room. The good: The bed was at a good height for someone transferring to and from a wheelchair. The bathroom design was mostly pretty good with respect to the toilet and roll-in shower. There are some specific issues that could be addressed. The wall-mounted dispenser bottles next to the shower controls are much better than having tiny hotel issued bottles of shampoo or conditioner that fall where you cannot reach them. The bad: The space between the foot of the bed and the cabinet/counter was too narrow for a wheelchair to pass. Someone in a wheelchair cannot get to the coffee maker, window or clock. I don't think the refrigerator could be reached either, but might be wrong about that. The switches for the bedside lights are well out of reach for anyone laying in the bed. The shower curtain for the roll-in shower does not reach the ground and is directly above the low metal threshold anchored to the floor. Because of this a lot of water can get outside of the shower, and it is easy to flood the bathroom. The curtain needs to be lowered to reach the ground and moved a few inches inside of the metal threshold. Except for a tiny glass shelf off to the side there is no counter space around the bathroom sink. This means there no place to put your toiletries, a hair dryer, a glass or anything else. If you are using a hair dryer, its cord tends to knock down whatever is sitting on the tiny glass shelf. The mirror behind the sink cannot be angled down, so someone in a wheelchair can see the top of their head, but not much else. There are no No complimentary breakfast, and the Bistro ran out of most everything within 30 minutes of being open in the morning.

The women at the front desk were terrific and were doing everything they could when our booking website (not direct with the hotel so we could save $) payment wasn't going through properly - they weren't able to give us a key until the payment was straightened out. We texted through the app, and someone with the app called the front desk so we were able to check in. Once we were in, the service was excellent. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. The pool and hot tub were open until 10pm and were warm and clean. We loved soaking and swimming each evening after visiting with family. The only curveball was that the firepit wasn't operable. A man said it was due to the weather, but it had been clear and dry so that didn't make sense. Therefore, we had to drink our Christmas Eve Prosecco (which we bought at the hotel snack bar!) in the room, since it was too cold to sit outside without a firepit. Outside of that, it was a terrific visit and we would stay again. One thing that would be great would be if they had bikes to borrow or rent. There are nearby bike paths and some places are too far to walk but would definitely be bikeable.

My stay at the Santa Rosa location was for a professional conference of over 300 law enforcement professionals of which I was one of the coordinators. The first thing I noticed was an abundance of available guest parking. As I walked into the registration area I immediately felt a sense of relaxation. The area was large, open and bright. The décor was modern and well maintained. The front desk personnel were friendly and greeted me with a smile.

My room was ready early and was clean, spacious and comfortable. It was only a short walk to the restaurant and conference area. Each hotel staff member I encountered was courteous, greeted me with a "hello" and asked if there was anything they could do for me. Kudos to those employees for creating an environment where as a guest I felt valued and appreciated! The free in-room and common area Wi-Fi was a BIG hit with our group as well.

The conference facilities, including food services, were outstanding. The classrooms were spacious and always had ample seating set up to accommodate our group. There were no audio/visual issues reported to me or in any of the classes I personally attended. As is common with conferences and seminars, our group made several last minute requests all of which were met without hesitation or issues.

Our group and I specifically, enjoyed dinners and drinks at the in-house bar and restaurant. Bacchus staff was prompt, courteous and friendly. The menu was limited; however it still offered a nice variety for varying tastes. I was personally pleased with my meal selections and heard likewise from other conference attendees.

Our group enjoyed the open business and fireplace areas in the lobby area. Many of our attendees used the supplied computers and other business equipment to print boarding passes and the like. We also very much enjoyed the billiards table and large television for relaxing in a group setting.

Lastly, the hotel staff was terrific! I interacted with many staff members over the four days I was at the hotel. Each person was polite, professional and pleasant. They listened closely, were attentive, prompt and always asked if there was anything else they could do for me.

Our group very much enjoyed the venue and had very few gripes and groans which can be a-typical when you get over 300 law enforcement professionals together in one place! We will keep the Santa Rosa Courtyard at the top of the list for future...

Not that the target customers will care for my review but I experienced highly judgemental staff with a touch of fascist attitudes last night when i came to this hotel. To make a long drawn out story short, me and my wife were stranded here after being droped off to our car which was in their parking lot without our keys. We could not get ahold of the person which who droped us off and they had our keys so we were stuck after we had just had a long day driving far up north. We were tired, cold and frustrated so to put the insult to injury as i was waiting to get my keys back from the person who droped us off which who was also staying at their hotel i was herrased by the hotel staff and security and told that we couldnt sleep in our car which we had no intentions of doing, so we were pretty much judged for being in the cattagory of the homeless tweekers around the area when we are actually healthy residents of Sebastopol in which i explained to the ignorant security and said we had a long day so we just needed to wait for our keys. 12am came around and I decided to ask the front people about my keys posibly getting turned in whiched turned in too the staff judging me for not being a part of thier status quo, then he got weird after i explained the situation gave about a minute then came up to me and asked with an authoritive bs tone about the situation said he didnt care because i had been thier since 9 and i had 5 minutes to figure it out in ither words kicked me out into the cold i then left outside and sat down on the chair i said that my phone was to soon turn off and instead of being helpful in anyway the security came outside and began to herass me about being on the property. I said do what you got to do as i know because im not in thier high class club i was being treated like a crack head or whatever they were thinking just because i looked alternative. I ended up calling the cops on them which i got alot of help from and he actually agreed with me that thier fascist attitude was judging me as looking like a homeless rather then being helpful to someone who just got stranded. Just because some look alternative doesnt mean thier homeless and just because someone is homeless doesnt mean they are criminals deserving to be treated differently then others. I gave no problem to these people i was just waiting for my keys. Awesome hotel horrible...
