I am a very frequent customer 2-3 times a week regularly for more than a year I buy many things for my family for myself for others always a wide assortment of things, this time on Saturday September 17 at 6:00 pm we arrived and left around them 7:35 pm we went shopping I took my family we were going to move to a new house and we decided to buy things believe me enough, I had never seen the clothes I always went to the furniture area and looked at some very nice jackets and dresses with labels I did not buy some for at least $400 dlls in 4 separate transactions, a tall Arab man was standing at the door looking at us and even asked us where we were from, I told him that we were from San Diego, I think he found it strange from so much that I bought, what I didn't like was that things had their prices and the cashier asked him as if something was strange Poes a dress for $8.99 He changed it to $15 dlls just because Cashier asked him and I said well is cheap anyway I buy it but it seems strange to me that they change the prices that it is not supposed to be what it is or it is not like that anymore. They already change their minds at the checkout??? the truth if it bothers me they make me feel as if I changed the price when it is not like that, even before we leave he tells the cashier hey you did not charge the child's toy (a skate) and the cashier did charge it and if I told him hey What happens to you? You change prices and you think I don't pay omg… I know several people from goodwill but I've never seen that angry person change prices and wonder what I pay and what I don't. made us feel very...
Read moreI came in to donate some clothes and a reclining chair on Friday afternoon. The retail store was very busy and parking was a mess. A donation truck was partially blocking the donation entrance on Olive Ln, so I entered from Mission Gorge. As soon as I pulled around to the donation center, a big burly guy who was loading the truck started giving me dirty looks and gesturing to his coworker while pointing to my truck. The other donation center worker directed me to park in an unloading zone where he examined the chair for donation and decided it was good enough to donate. We offloaded the chair and the burly guy came stomping over yelling that the chair was garbage and they should not have accepted it. Continued to shout at me and the employees that it was just going in the trash. I stopped him and told him that if they couldn't use it to just put it back in my truck, which he then yelled at the employees to do. I asked the employees if he was the boss. He was not. He was the donation truck driver. Honestly, if they couldn't use the chair, that was fine, but a polite "sorry, but the chair isn't in a condition that we can use. Thanks for coming in." would have at least showed a little gratitude for my effort. The man was beyond rude and obnoxious, and should try another line of work. I won't be donating to Goodwill in the future. The Salvation Army store on Cuyamaca thought the chair was fine, and took it...
