"I recently had the pleasure of hosting a glassblowing experience for my Girl Scout troop at Hostess City Hot Glass, and it was an absolute blast! The studio's fun and lively atmosphere was perfect for our group of excited girls.

From the moment we arrived, the Ron and Chris were warm and welcoming, making everyone feel comfortable and eager to get started. The girls had an amazing time creating their very own glass ornaments, and the sense of pride and accomplishment they felt when they finished was incredible.

What impressed me most was how patient and encouraging Ron and Chis were, especially with our younger participants. They expertly guided the girls through the glassblowing process, teaching them about temperature, texture, and technique.

The entire experience was seamless and enjoyable, from booking to execution. Hostess City Hot Glass truly knows how to make their guests feel special. If you're looking for a unique and empowering activity for your group, I highly recommend Hostess City Hot Glass. Oh and did I mention Casey ( Ron’s wife) was a girl scout. She showed the girls her sash and a picture from when she was a girl scout. This was a highlight to our trip.

Five stars aren't enough - this experience was truly exceptional!" 10/10...

We've always been mesmerized by glass blowing and have been to many displays/presentations over the years in various cities so, when I saw the Groupon deal to actually LEARN to try our own glass blowing (or should I say turning as I have since learned!) in Savannah while on vacation as a belated anniversary gift, I was all over it! Hostess City was even kind enough to honor the deal for us after the expiration to help keep the surprise. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Ronald & Sarah during our class. Sarah did an excellent job explaining the glass blowing/turning process and working patiently with us to ensure we understood it as well. Ron had us cracking up; he's hilarious in addition to being insanely talented. Both cheered us on as we both had the chance to create our own glass ornaments and Ronald even wove in a little life lesson in for us about the importance of slowing down and living in/enjoying the moment. This is an experience that we will remember forever and we cannot WAIT to see our finished ornaments. I know we will feel such joy remembering this treasured event each year we hang these ornaments on our Christmas tree. Thank you for such a memorable, informative and FUN...

We went to Hostess City Hot Glass, and found it to be an outstanding opportunity to practice working with glass. This was a hands-on, well explained and friendly environment, small but laid out effectively. All the actions taken in making our glass objects were explained and practiced, before you had to perform the tasks required. This gave us confidence, as well as understanding.

It was definitely not like some glass workshops, where you perform just a few tasks in the process and watch the rest. We were involved throughout and they were willing to take their time, give advice and background on what we were doing and why.  Our group made glass ornaments and paperweights — basic but just what we were expecting. All of them turned out great.

You get to choose the colors that will be blended to make your object, then you blend the colors into the molten glass fire and roll the glass, . The picture is my wife shaping the glass before blowing.

All under the direction and in some cases direct involvement of the glass artist. We were a group of 4 and had a great time. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone interested in the art of...

Our family had such an incredible experience with the whole team at Hostess City Hot Glass - Ronald, Sarah, Larry and Casey. Fantastic instructors and such a beautiful art. I would recommend everyone try this. Embrace the art, lessons and experience. You know you are learning from the best, and that makes it even more special. This will have to be something we do every time we make the trip to Savannah! Not only were the glass ornaments we created beautiful, but the way Ronald helped my daughters approach and learn something new was equally part of the reason I enjoyed it so much. Thank you all!!!
