Planet Fitness — Attraction in Savannah

I've been to 4-5 planet fitness throughout life. This one is decent. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming . The bathrooms could use some love. There's always some kind of mess (tp on the floor, toilets unflushed with a mess inside). The tanning rooms have a smell that others I visited don't. I assume it's from people's tanning lotions/sweat and them not properly cleaning their bed after. The treadmills are not my favorite. They seem like the outdated ones my PF used almost 10 years ago in another city. I've been spoiled with OrangeTheory treadmills, though. Other than the treads, everything else is great. Love the broad selection of dumbells. I do wish there was one or 2 extra benches in that area. But the other gym goers are pretty respectful of letting you know when they're finished.The staff is pretty diligent at helping those who approach the desk. I've been to others where I'm lucky to even see one person...

Would actually give negative stars if I could. I joined in May of 2024 & was told that the $59 charge was my annual fee.. because I explained my situation of only being here in the summer (may-August 1st).. staff member said okay that will be your annual fee. Was charged $10 in June and then another $59 in July.. talked to staff and they did absolutely nothing about it. Cancelled my membership because I already paid & was leaving + they said I had access until August 16th.. next day was charged ANOTHER $20??? Talked to staff again and they said “we don’t know why it charged you, probably a late fee”

A late fee of WHAT?? Told me they couldn’t refund me because they don’t do refunds and instead I have to reach out to corporation on there mess ups?

Clean safe no judgment and lots equipment and I love the environment... Close to the house.. perfect cuz it's located between me and my job so before work or after work either way I love it.... the hydro chairs and the total body enhancement is just like a place I used couple years ago and I pay a 10th fraction with I paid there and get same results and tanning booths r awesome... my trainer Tamika I believe is how she spells it.. I love her she's awesome. Don't even matter if she's in class or not if ubhave a question or wanna try something new she's down and will help you.... the locker rooms r always clean!! I love this guy.... east victory dr...
