I’ve been to this Starbucks a couple times and every time I go I’m reminded about why I shouldn’t have gone. The service is always glacially SLOW! I mean every time I’ve visited (5+ times) the waits have been ridiculous - at least 30 minutes. I don’t know if they really are that busy all the time or if employee training needs to be better, but for whatever the reason the service isn’t good. If you need coffee, I’d recommend going to the Starbucks in the Target across the street.
Edit: at this point, I should know better than to do this to myself, but sometimes you just want a PSL and these guys are close-ish to where I live. Today really took the cake for a terrible experience at this Starbucks. I placed a mobile order and after it was placed got a notification that it would be 35 to 38 minutes before my drink was ready. I decided I didn’t want to wait that long so I went in to cancel my order. I was told that I couldn’t cancel my order because I had used a coupon specific to my account and that I needed to call Starbucks to get a refund. So, I called Starbucks. Apparently, Starbucks corporate is experiencing unexpected problems and could not take calls. So, effectively, I’m out what I paid for my order and Starbucks doesn’t feel a need to talk about it. Savannah is a lovely city full of coffee shops. In the future, I really need to remember that and not go to Starbucks. Ever. They’re terrible. You may or may not get your drink, but they’ll definitely...
Read moreI use this location (Victory Drive) daily and am very disappointed with the crew working around 3 pm on weekdays. The drive-through line is always ridiculously long and moves painfully slow. I actually got out of car line today and found it was quicker to go inside rather than wait to just pick up mobile order. Sometimes I’m unable to do this though because I’m boxed in due to the design of the drive thru. Additionally, when the girl takes your order in the drive-thru, before I can even say I’m just picking up a MO, she places me on hold for quite a bit of time. The line, therefore, is backing up because I’m on hold when I don’t need to even order. This is seemingly with every car that pulls up to order. Car pulls up; they get put on hold before they can open their mouth; they wait for one-three minutes or more; they finally get to order; line moves one car length if they’re lucky. Sometimes I wait five-seven minutes between just to move one car length! It never used to move this slow and inefficiently, and I’ve been using this location for years. I’m not sure if it’s an inability to multi-task or what, but it’s adding unnecessary frustration to customers’ afternoons, especially if they dont have thirty minutes to spend in line. Again, this only happens to me at certain times a day and with certain crew working the window; it has been a consistent problem for the last several weeks. Please look into this issue as I really love Starbucks! Thanks, Taylor in...
Read moreIt’s an interesting location. It appears you can go into one of the doors on the side like most Starbucks but it was locked. So I walked around the corner but it was the drive thru side so I ended up walking all the way around the building because there was no directions on where to go. And why isn’t the door facing Victory Drive locked in the first place? I go inside to a Starbucks filled with employees but no person at the cash register. One young lady says someone will be right with me and walks to the bathroom. A young man comes up and asks what can he get for me. I ask for a cold brew and begin to tell him what I want in it and he cuts me off to tell me that they are out of cold brew. At 7:15 am when I know for a fact it’s brewed (supposed to be) the night before. So I say thank you anyway and leave. He offers an iced coffee or an Americana but I didn’t come for that. I just drove up from Florida on business and thought I’d get a nice calming breakfast and a coffee. No chance of that happening here unfortunately. A really nice young lady did offer e her coffee but I declined and said thank you anyway. She is probably the glue to this place and they under appreciate her. That’s all I am going to...
