Sayre Theatre — Attraction in Sayre

Saw a matinee showing of Ready Player One. I've been excited to see it since it came out. I get into the theater sit through the trailers, the movie starts and all of a sudden there's subtitles. I have no idea if there was supposed to be. Didn't know if there was someone with hearing issues in the theater. so I didn't say anything to the people running the counter but if they were there on purpose I would've loved to have known before I spent money to see the movie. Subtitles are very distracting to me and with a movie like Ready Player One which has tons of easter eggs and cameos I missed the majority of them because of this. Also there was nonstop talking from several people in the audience. I'm guessing nobody checks in at all anymore? Definitely miss the...

I like the convenience of having a theater so close to home's it's usually very clean. I think the prices are a bit skewed especially with the new forced donation to the conservation fund. This should be a voluntary fee not included in ticket pricing. Concession pricing is also way too high for the amounts you receive. I also feel they tend to make our business decisions. For example on the second weekend that Captain Marvel was released they decided to move it to the smaller theater putting a lower advertised children's movie in the big theater. Then they oversold tickets to Captain Marvel so people had tickets but no seats were available. There's definitely room for improvement at...

Was so excited for the inside out 2 movie premiere however was extremely upset at it's delayed start. The theater was not prepared to handle the crowd. We arrived at 7PM to ensure we would get seating (the show was scheduled for 720PM start time) IT DIDNT START UNTIL ALMOST 8 PM. this was highly unfair to those that were prepared...
