Route 9 Farmers Market Inc — Attraction in Sayreville

This place is a godsend for those of us who are tired of paying for overpriced produce at the bigger supermarkets. There is a great selection, and everything is usually very good and fresh. I can walk out of here with three or four bags stuffed full of fresh fruits and veggies for around $20.

In addition to produce, there is a decent selection of dairy, as well as breads, wraps, pitas, etc. They also have some canned and boxed goods, in addition to a large selection of nuts, seeds, dried fruits and the like. There is also a deli counter, which seems to specialize in either Polish or Russian food.

Definitely worth a visit if you're looking to save money and get fresh,...

Route 9 Farmers Market is a decently large market here in the area. The produce is always as fresh as can be and bread (and rolls) is delivered on a daily basis. The prices are extremely affordable! At the back, you'll find a Polish store that's essentially a meats and cheese store with other Polish goods. Most of the meats and cheeses are made in Springfield (there's a larger one of these stores in Linden). Some of the non perishables are even imported directly from Poland. I'm Polish and I approve their deliciousness. Without a doubt, both of these stores (yes, they're separate) are some of the best places to get fresh food...

Great place for fresh and cheap vegetables and fruits and even flowers. Staff is very good. It has a small grocery and Dairy section as well. They sell meat as well. Most of the fruits are seasonal however Apple and Bananas are present round the year. Atleast 4-5 varieties of apples are being sold daily. Fresh green leafy vegetables and also available and are neatly kept in the store. Many check out counters are present for speedy service however in weekends it’s crowded so some delays happens (sometimes). Near by pizza shop is present also McDonald’s and Burger King. Enough parking spaces are available in the area....
