Tonight, I was at coles in Lewisburg in the parking lot. It was freezing rain and the roads were slushy and slippery. A customer came out of the store in a wheelchair, not a motorized one. He had things in his lap and was trying to scoot along with his feet and hands. I watched him get through the parking lot then out of my eyesight. After a couple minutes, I was one of the employees looking out the door and then he said something to the manager. ( it now is after they were officially closed and were cleaning). Then I watched this young man come out and walk past my car when I looked closed, the man in the wheelchair had gotten stuck and this employee not only walked in the freezing rain to help him get unstuck, but he pushed him home. ( he only lived a little way down the road). I was so impressed with both the manager giving permission for his employee to go help, but also the associate who wanted to help.
