Goodwill Donation Center — Attraction in Scottsdale

I only gave one star because they don't even deserve that but I had to my son and I shop in this location all the time at least five days a week we believe in giving back to the community we donate and we shop a lot of Goodwill instead of brand new to help people keep jobs my son went in there today manager walks up to him didn't discuss nothing told him he needed to get out or they were calling the police because they've already kicked him out once he's never been kicked out I will not be going back to that store my son is not going back to that store we dated contact corporate we are expecting phone calls back and it's a real shame even calling a corporate number they don't even apologize for the actions of their manager when we spend at least $200 a week in this store I'll never shop another Goodwill the people used to be very friendly and nice but lately I've noticed they have not been and whoever is running the store now is very rude to their customers did it in public in front of everybody my son was humiliated and embarrassed my son is a hard-working father and he shops to help save money and support his community and this is his payback they wouldn't even let him talk they just told him we're calling the police you better leave I will never I would not even suggest anybody to go into that store. It's a shame people have to judge him because he looks like somebody they've already kicked out wasn't him we are looking into an investigation we want a picture of this man that they kicked out cuz I know it...

Ive always loved this goodwill there was this short employee with glasses who was always kind i dont know if shes there anymore but anyway. I went to goodwill today and i went around 7:40 ( keep in mind i forgot my phone in the car) We were shopping and then all of the sudden the lights went off and i went to find my mom to tell her lets go. Then this bald old tall guy says “Weve been closed for 5 minutes gosh” I knew that was aimed towards us so then I replied to him and said “You guys dont make announcements anymore I didnt hear one “ In which he replied “okay but the cash registers are going to be closed and theres no way for you to check out” He had a point but why make that snarky comment and not say something like “Hey just letting yall know the store is closed please head to the registers. but he didnt. There was also a lady next to us in the other eile. She was getting her stuff to make her way out but i guess the old guy wanted her to hurry so he told another employee “Can you tell her our store is closed in spanish so she can leave” Assuming she was mexican. The lady then replied and said “excuse me I speak english you dont have to be rude sir” So then he said “then go” Omg what a horrible experience like genuinely. I was in this goodwill today looking for a few cheap items to donate to a family in need that lost everything and was getting back on their feet after covid. I am not a rich woman but want to help where I can. I found a Blackwell stereo with Bluetooth that was on the list. Young girl 10 wanted to connect her phone to do her school work. It was 17.49 mind you it is listed at Walmart for 19.99 today. I fix electronics and try to support good causes. I asked to speak to the manager and asked for a discount since one speaker did not work and the volume button was not there. He was rude and told me if I didn't like it I should go and take myself to Walmart he finally went down to 12. I asked if he could do 11 and told him what I was doing he said he didn't care and this is not make a deal I agreed to the 12 and he said nope not going to happen and walked off.
