I will be the first one to rave about Costco to anybody that will listen. Costco is always my first place to look for, well, anything. I've spent too much money here over the years but I don't mind as it supports a business that treats its employees right.
Why 3 stars then, you ask? Well, I don't know if it's this location specifically but today was the 4th or 5th time the food court pizza has been backed up by a large order. I don't expect a whole pizza instantly, but to have to wait 45-90 minutes (without notice!) because another member put in a massive order right before I did is a disservice to the rest of us. The food court needs to find a way to fulfill larger orders while not unduly affecting other members' experience. In my specific case, I waited 20min and then, when I asked the cashier for a time estimate (very courteous and professional response) was told it would take an additional 30-60min. I could not wait that long so I just left my pizza unclaimed. A refund would have taken probably another 10-15min so I just ate the $11 cost.
There's many ways to solve this, here's a few ideas: Limit order size to something like 10 pizzas a day, per member Automate a ticker with a "current whole pizza wait time" so members don't waste their time not knowing there's a massive order in front of theirs Find a way to fit in smaller orders as you build out a bigger order Require advance notice for bigger orders so the kitchen can "surge" and get those through as fast as possible
Besides that, this location is standard Costco fare. Good service, good prices, middling variety. Make sure you come off-peak, like a half hour before close on a weekday or right at opening. Enjoy dodging all the clueless members in the parking lots or the aisles but that's just a Seattle thing in general :)
(Yes, I get the irony of taking 10min to rant about a long wait time but I wanted pizza and am disappointed....

Costco is a membership-only warehouse club that offers a wide range of products, including groceries, electronics, clothing, and home goods. The store is known for its bulk quantities and competitive pricing, making it a popular shopping destination for families and businesses alike.
One of the best things about Costco is the quality of their products. The store has a reputation for carrying high-quality brands, and their Kirkland Signature brand is often considered to be on par with name-brand products. This means that you can save money without sacrificing quality.
Another insider tip for shopping at Costco is to be aware of their sale cycles. Costco typically changes their prices and product offerings every few weeks, so if you see something you like, it's a good idea to stock up while it's available. You can also keep an eye out for coupons and deals in their monthly coupon book, which is available in-store and online.
One of the challenges of shopping at Costco is the sheer size of the store. To navigate it more easily, it's helpful to have a plan before you go. Make a list of the items you need, and be prepared to navigate through multiple sections to find everything you need. It's also a good idea to bring a friend or family member to help carry large items, as Costco is known for selling items in bulk.
Lastly, Costco has a great return policy, so don't be afraid to try something new. If you're not satisfied with a product, you can return it for a full refund, no questions asked. This policy applies to everything from electronics to food, so you can shop with confidence.
Overall, Costco is a great option for shoppers who want to save money without...

I wanted to buy a washer and dryer from the Costco in Seattle and was told by an employ I had to do it online. Fine, no problem. I made the order on 9/26/21. About two weeks later the delivery was made, however the unit was damaged. I had to call Costco Logistics and re-order a different unit and schedule another time for it to be dropped off. I asked if it could be dropped off after 3pm, because that's when I get home from work. The person I spoke with said she would make a note of it.
The night before the delivery I received a message indicating the delivery would be made between 11:15 am and 1:15 pm. I called logistics again, spoke with a different person and asked if I could change the time. Without giving me a reason, he said customers can only choose the days, not the time. I wish the previous employee would have told me that, otherwise I would have scheduled for a Saturday. So I ended up re-scheduling on a Saturday (two weeks after the call) but today I received an email saying their was an issue with my delivery and they were unable to deliver the unit. I was also sent two automated messages with different delivery times: 11:15-1:15 and 12:30-2:30. Due to the vagueness of the email about the issue with the delivery, I called logistics and asked what the problem was. I was told the unit wasn't in the warehouse.
I called customer service, cancelled the order and asked for a refund.
I have been a happy customer of Costco for many years but I will never order a large appliance from them again. I will be going to a different appliance store to make...
